Application of Iterative Methods for Solving General Riccati Equation

In this paper, the general riccati differential equation is solved by using the adomian’sdecomposition method (adm) , modified adomian’s decomposition method (madm),variational iteration method (vim), modified variational iteration method (mvim), homotopyperturbation method (hpm), modified homotopy perturbation method (mhpm)and homotopy analysis method (ham). the existence and uniqueness of the solution andconvergence of the proposed methods are proved in details. a numerical example is studiedto demonstrate the accuracy of the presented methods.
