|
In this paper, the problem of determining heat transfer from convecting-radiating an of rectangularshape is investigated. we consider one-dimensional, steady conduction in the an and neglect radiativeexchange between adjacent ans and between the an and its primary surface. it is demonstrated thatthe governing in equation, a nonlinear second-order differential equation, is exactly solvable. theexact, closed-form analytical solutions in implicit form are convenient for physical interpretation andoptimization for maximum heat transfer. additionally, exact analytical expressions for heat transferrate and the an efficiency are provided.
