بازشناسی مفهوم خوانایی در فرآیند ادراک ساکنان از مجتمع‌های مسکونی. نمونۀ موردی: مجتمع اکباتان تهران

با وجود معرفی خوانایی به‌عنوان یک مفهوم مرتبط با ادراک انسانی، نگاه کالبدمحور به سنجش این مفهوم، منجر به تمرکز بر معیارهایی از محیط فیزیکی شده است. اگر مبتنی بر تعاریف، مبنای سنجش خوانایی کالبدی را به‌جای تصویر محیطی، تصور ناظر از محیط کالبدی بدانیم که مبنای تعامل افراد با محیط است، زوایای دیگری از وجوه موثر بر خوانایی را می‌توان تشخیص داد. هدف این پژوهش دست یافتن به معیاری جامع‌ برای سنجش مفهوم خوانایی مبتنی بر تصور ذهنی است، لذا پرسش پژوهش این است که فرآیند ادراکی ایجاد تصویری روشن و منسجم از محیط در ذهن ناظر چگونه است؟ این مقاله در چارچوب مطالعات کیفی بوده و ضمن بررسی اسناد و مطالعات مرتبط و با روش تحلیل محتوا سعی دارد تا به مدلی مفهومی از ارتباط مولفه‌های تصویر ذهنی دست‌یافته و از طریق استدلالی منطقی ارتباط آن را با خوانایی برقرار نماید،  سپس ضمن ارزیابی آن در چارچوبی کمّی و در محدودۀ یک مجتمع مسکونی به روش پیمایشی و با ابزار پرسش‌نامه و تحلیل عامل تاییدی در نرم‌افزار لیزرل ضمن شرح و بسط چارچوب نظری اعتبار آن را برای سنجش خوانایی بررسی نماید. نتایج تحلیل‌ها نشان از همبستگی بین داده‌ها و روایی بین مولفه‌ها داشته و حاکی از تاثیر توامان لایه‌های مکانی، زمانی و عاطفی در تصور ناظر از محیط کالبدی است؛ لذا خوانایی ادراک‌شده از محیط کالبدی علاوه بر ایجاد تصویر ذهنی- مکانی منوط به ایجاد تصویر ذهنی- مکانی و ذهنی- عاطفی است.

Recognition of the legibility concept In the perception of Residential complexesCase studies: Ekbatan Residential Complex

Legibility concept added to the terminology of the spatial quality after Kavin Lynche’s efforts. However, extensive research is done regarding this concept in different disciplines the legibility has less been studied as an individual subject of study. Even though legibility is introduced as a perceptionrelated concept, the intention to define tangible measures for legibility has led to a concentration on physical characteristics. However, if we consider spectators` imagination as the criteria to assess legibility over the physical image, then other factors that affect legibility could be found. This research aims to define a comprehensive and multifaceted indicator of legibility based on the mental imagination. The research question is, what is the perceptual process of creating a clear, coherent image of the environment in the observer’s mind? This is qualitative research that uses a content analysis method to develop a conceptual framework that explains the relationship among the mental imagination criteria and utilizes logical reasoning to connect those criteria to the legibility concept. Then, evaluating it in a quantitative framework within a residential complex through survey, questionnaire, and confirmatory factor analysis in LISREL software, while elaborating its theoretical framework for the validity of legibility assessment. The results showed a correlation between the data and the validity between the components. They indicated the simultaneous effect of spatial, temporal, and emotional layers on the perception of the physical environment. Therefore, the perceived legibility of the physical environment, in addition to the creation of spatial imagination, is subject to the nature of temporal and emotional mental imagery.
