تروریسم به مثابۀ ابزار رقابت ژئوپلیتیکی قدرت‌ها

با توجه به رویدادها و وقایع غیرانسانی مخالف با حقوق بشر در جهان امروز، جنگ علیه تروریسم به گفتمان مسلط امنیتی در نظام بین الملل تبدیل شده است. کشورهای قدرتمند، با حمله به شخصیت‌های نخبه و امنیت ساز ملی و ورود اجباری به قلمرو کشورها درصدد رسیدن به  اهداف خود هستند و اگر با اعتراض مواجه شوند با نقشۀ قبلی و با جهت گیری های سیاسی برای ایجاد ترس در بین ملت ها به اقدامات خشونت امیز متوسل می‌شوند. در واقع، جریان تروریسم منشاء بُروز ناامنی و تهدید در سرتاسر جهان، به ویژه مناطقی نظیر خاورمیانه، شده است. به طورکلی، حوزۀ نفوذ و اثرگذاری تروریسم، سطوح فضایی ملی، منطقه ای و بین‌المللی را در بر می‌گیرد. در حال حاضر، تروریسم به‌عنوان یک مقوله «ژئوپلیتیکی» محسوب می شود که در روابط و رقابت های میان دولت ها با گروه‌های معارض داخلی، در رقابت میان کشورها در سطح منطقه ای و در رقابت و کشمکش میان قدرت های جهانی با یکدیگر، به‌عنوان ابزار مقابله به کارگرفته می شود. بنابراین، حرکت جامعۀ بین الملل در مبارزه با این پدیدۀ تهدید کنندۀ امنیت، باعث تغییر و تحول در رژیم های امنیتی و رفتارهای ژئوپلیتیکی شده است. تروریسم یک تهدید جدی علیه امنیت ملی و بین المللی است و با استفاده از بنیان های ژئوپلیتیکی می توان آن را تعریف و در معرض بحث و بررسی قرار داد. تاثیر و تاثرهای فی مابین قلمروخواهی و تروریسم می تواند تا نقش بسزایی در ژئوپلیتیک محلی و جهانی داشته باشد. درواقع، ژئوتروریسم به نوقلمروخواهی گروههای تروریست اشاره می نماید که در مواقعی به جنگ های سخت می انجامد و امنیت محلی، ملی، منطقه ای و جهانی را با خطر مواجه می سازد. اهمیت این پژوهش، از این جهت است که با روش توصیفی تحلیلی بیان می کند در جهان امروز، «تروریسم به مثابۀ ابزار رقابت ژئوپلیتیکی قدرت ها تلقی می گردد». در واقع، این فرضیه، اثبات شده است که« امروزه، کشورهای قدرتمند از تروریسم به عنوان یک ابزار ژئوپلیتیکی، برای مقابله با رقبایشان استفاده می کنند».
