چالش‌های دوگانه‌انگاری در مسئله‌ علیت ذهنی و امکان‌سنجی رویکرد جایگزین

مقاله‌ حاضر چالش‌های موجود در رویکرد «دوگانه‌انگاری جوهری» در تبیین علیت ذهنی را بررسی کرده است. دوگانه‌انگاری جوهری با تفکیک ذهن و بدن به دو حوزه‌ مجزا، در توضیح چگونگی تاثیرگذاری ذهن بر جهان فیزیکی با دشواری‌های جدی مواجه است. به‌طورکلی، چالش‌های علیت ذهنی از دو منظر قابل بررسی‌ است: برخی اشکالات (مانند اشکال اتصال علّی و اشکال جفت‌شدن) با فرض دوگانه‌انگاری جوهر ذهن و بدن مطرح شده‌اند. برخی دیگر تحت تاثیر دیدگاه‌هایی همچون فیزیکی‌انگاری شکل گرفته‌اند. این مقاله با روش «توصیفی تحلیلی» پس از بررسی مشکلات علیت ذهنی، برخی پاسخ‌ها و دیدگاه‌هایی که امکان حل این مشکلات را دارند، تحلیل کرده است.

challenges of dualism in mental causation and the possibility of substitution approach

the present article examines the challenges in the ‘substance dualism’ approach to explaining mental causation. substance dualism, by separating mind and body into two distinct realms, faces serious difficulties in explaining how the mind influences the physical world. generally, the challenges of mental causation can be examined from two perspectives: some problems (such as the problem of causal interaction and the pairing problem) have been raised assuming substance dualism of mind and body. others have been shaped under the influence of views such as physicalism. this article, using a ‘descriptive-analytical’ method, after examining the problems of mental causation, analyzes some responses and viewpoints that can potentially solve these problems.
