بررسی روش هابز در تاسیس و تشکیل دولت باتاکید برکتاب لویاتان

مقام هابز در متون فعلی فلسفه و سیاست و اجتماع از آنرو نافذ و رفیع است که کلیدی ترین مبحث فلسفه سیاسی و علم سیاست یعنی قدرت و دولت را به شکلی سامان مند و جامع تبیین و تشریح نموده است. هابز در کتاب لویاتان با بکارگیری دقت و قطعیت احکام ریاضی در حوزه سیاست، نخستین گام را در علمی کردن سیاست برمی دارد و با استفاده از تمثیل های ابزار وار و انداموار لویاتان یا دولت را همچون انسان مصنوعی قلمداد می کند و برپایه تحلیلی مکانیکی و مادی از طبع انسان در صدد برمی آید که همه وقایع و نیز امیال، سلوک و رفتار و احساسات آدمی را بر اساس اصل حرکت توضیح دهد. عصاره اصلی کتاب لویاتان این است که اگر افراد جامعه بخواهند در جامعه از امنیت کامل برخوردار شوند و رعایت قوانینی که هدف آنها ایجاد امنیت است به زیان شان تمام نشود باید همه اختیارات خود رابه یک فرد یا جمعی از افراد بسپارند.اما اهمیت هابز بیش از هر چیز در آن است که او در روش شناسی خود ارتباطی میان علوم دقیقه (نظیر هندسه و ریاضیات) و دانش هایی چون فیزیک و روانشناسی برقرار می کند و می کوشد که از این علوم در زمینه مطالعات سیاسی و تاسیس دولت بهره گیرد. بدین سان او روش خوب و معقول را برای تحلیل کلیه موضوعات روشی شبیه به تحلیل هندسی می دانست

A Review of Hobbes's Method in the Establishment and Formation of State, with Emphasis on His Book Leviathan

Hobbes's status in the present texts on philosophy, politics and society is high and influential because he has explicated and explained one of the most important issues of political philosophy and politics, i.e. power and state, systematically and comprehensively.  In his book entitled leviathan, Hobbes took the first step in scientizing the politics by applying accuracy and certainty of mathematics rules to the field of politics, regarded leviathan or state as an artificial man using instrumental and organic metaphors and tried to explain all events and human desires, behaviors, conducts and feelings on the basis of the principle of motion using a mechanistic and materialistic analysis of man's nature. The gist of leviathan is that if society members want to have complete security in the society and observance of laws which aim to establish security does not harm them, they must entrust all their powers to an individual or a group. However, Hobbes's importance, first of all, lies in the fact that he established a relationship between exact sciences (e.g. geometry and mathematics) and such sciences as physics and psychology in his methodology and tried to use them in political studies and establishment of state. Therefore, he regarded geometric analysis like method as a good and reasonable method to analyze all issues.
