تاثیر لمس درمانی در کاهش درد سرطان

پیش زمینه و هدف: درد، علامتی شایع و رنج آور در بیماران سرطانی می باشد که بر زندگی آنان تاثیر می گذارد و گاهی تاثیر آن بیش از خود بیماری سرطان است که برای آنان تشخیص داده شده است. مطالعات متعددی به بررسی تاثیر به کارگیری مداخلات مختلف غیر دارویی ازجمله لمس درمانی بر کاهش درد بیماران سرطانی پرداخته است که نتایج متفاوتی به همراه داشته است. هدف از انجام این پژوهش، پاسخ به این پرسش است که آیا لمس درمانی می تواند بر روی تسکین درد ناشی از سرطان تاثیرگذار باشد یا خیر و آیا این فن روشی ایمن می باشد یا عوارض جانبی به دنبال خواهد داشت. مواد و روش ها: به منظور پاسخ به سوالات بالا مطالعه ای مروری انجام شد. جستجو در بانک های اطلاعاتی معتبر شامل ovid، elsevier،pubmed،google scholar،cinahl در محدوده سال های 19980 تا 2013 انجام شد.503 مقاله با کلیدواژه های واردشده، یافت شد که پس از بررسی خلاصه آن ها 12 مقاله مرتبط انتخاب شدند. با بررسی این مقالات، مطالعات کارآزمایی بالینی، نیمه تجربی، مورد شاهدی و کوهورت انتخاب و بررسی شدند. تعداد مقالات به دست آمده در این مرحله، 6 مقاله بود. یافته ها: با جستجوی انجام شده، دو مورد کارآزمایی بالینی، یک مطالعه نیمه تجربی، دو مطالعه کوهورت و یک مطالعه مورد شاهدی یافت شد که مجموعاً بر روی 415 بیمار مبتلا به سرطان انجام شده بود. بحث و نتیجه گیری: به نظر می رسد لمس درمانی می تواند بر شدت درد بیماران دارای سرطان تاثیر بگذارد و تجربه درد را تعدیل کند. همچنین در بررسی مقالات، هیچ کدام از پژوهش ها اثرات منفی و عوارض جانبی را برای لمس درمانی گزارش نداده بودند. به نظر می رسد این فن، تکنیکی امن می باشد.

There are several studies which have assessed the efficacy of nonpharmacological interventions on cancer pain relief however, the results have been inconsistent. One of the nonpharmacological interventions is healing touch. Therefore, the purpose of the present study was whether therapeutic touch can have an effect on cancer pain relief, and whether it is a safe technique or it has side effects Materials Methods: A systematic literature review was performed to answer the above questions. The literature search was conducted on Ovid, Elsevier, PubMed, Google scholar, and CINAHL databases between 1980 and 2013. 503 research articles were found. These articles were reviewed and after reading the abstracts, 12 relevant articles were selected. From among these articles the ones containing clinical trial, quasi experimental, casecontrol and cohort studies were selected (N=6). Results: Two clinical trials, one quasi experimental, two cohort and one casecontrol study were found which was performed on 415 patients with cancer. Conclusion: Therapeutic touch seems to be helpful in controlling pain in patients with cancer. The studies did not report any side effects for therapeutic touch therefore, this technique seems to be safe.
