بررسی وضعیت تعادل ایستا و پویا در پیش‌بینی خطر سقوط سالمندان تهران

پیش زمینه و هدف: بی تعادلی مهم ترین و عمده ترین علل سقوط است و سقوط یکی از مشکلات شایع دوران سالمندی هست که موجب عوارض جسمی، روحی و مالی می شود. پژوهش حاضر باهدف بررسی تعادل ایستا و پویا جهت پیش بینی احتمال خطر سقوط سالمندان دارای سابقه سقوط انجام گردید. مواد و روش کار: مطالعه حاضر از نوع توصیفی و مقطعی هست. بدین منظور تعداد 160 فرد سالمند (130 زن، 30 مرد) 60 سال به بالا که ساکن سرای سالمندی کامرانی تهران بودند، به صورت سرشماری انتخاب شدند. پس از اخذ رضایت، اطلاعات دموگرافیک، آزمون برخاستن و حرکت کردن زمان دار (tug) و آزمون ارزیابی قابلیت حرکتی (poam) جهت اخذ داده ها استفاده شد. از آمار توصیفی برای طبقه بندی داده ها و از آمار استنباطی من ویتنی، کروسکال والیس و همبستگی پیرسون پس از بررسی نرمال بودن داده ها با استفاده از آزمون کولموگروف اسمیرنوف جهت تجزیه وتحلیل داده ها استفاده شد. یافته ها: از بین 160 نمونه اکثریت سالمندان زن (2/81 درصد) بودند. میانگین و انحراف معیار سنی 67/63±9/07 سال بودند. میانگین و انحراف معیار آزمون برخاستن و حرکت کردن زمان دار 20/58±7/1 ثانیه بود. میانگین و انحراف معیار امتیاز آزمون ارزیابی قابلیت حرکتی 18/41±3/78بود. مطابق با آزمون ارزیابی قابلیت حرکتی بیشتر سالمندان (58/8درصد) در گروه خطر سقوط بالا قرار داشتند. همچنین بیشتر آزمودنی ها (55/9 درصد) با ثبت رکورد بیش از 20 ثانیه در آزمون برخاستن و حرکت کردن زمان دار، مستعد به خطر سقوط بودند. بحث و نتیجه گیری: مطابق با یافته های به دست آمده، بیشتر سالمندان موردپژوهش در هر دو آزمون تعادلی مستعد به خطر سقوط بودند.

REVIEWING THE STATIC AND DYNAMIC BALANCE IN PREDICTING THE RISK OF FALLS IN ELDERLY PEOPLE IN TEHRAN

Reviewing the static and dynamic balance in predicting the risk of falls in elderly people in Tehran Jafari M[1], SHamshiri M[2]* Received: 15 Oct, 2014 Accepted: 14 Dec, 2014 Abstract Background Aim: Imbalance is the most important cause of falls, and it is one of the most common problems in aging. Falling can cause physical, emotional and financial effects in the elderly. This study aimed to assess the static and dynamic balance to predict the risk of falls in elderly people with the history of falls. Materials Methods: This is a descriptive and crosssectional study. Through a census sling method, 160 elderly individuals (130 females, 30 males) aged 60 years and over, living in Kamrani Nursing Home of Tehran were participated in the study. After obtaining informed consent, demographic information, timed lsquo get up and gorsquo test (TUG) and Performance Oriented Mobility Assessment (POAM) tests were used to assess the mobility problems in elderly people. Descriptive statistics, ManWhitney, Kruskalndash Wallis, and Pearson correlation, were used for data analysis. Normality of the data were assessed by using KolmogorovSmirnoff test. Result: From 160 elderly people participated in the study, the majority were females (81.2%). Mean plusmn SD of age was 67.63plusmn 9.07. Mean plusmn SD of TUG and POAM tests were 20.58plusmn 7.1 and 18.41plusmn 3.78, respectively. According to POAM test, 58.8% of the elderly people were at high risk of falls. Also, the majority of subjects (55.9%) attained a record of more than 20 seconds in TUG test that shows a prone to a high risk of falling. Conclusions: According to this study, the majority of elderly subjects were prone to the risk of falling.
