بررسی ارتباط بین عملکرد اخلاقی و حساسیت اخلاقی دانشجویان پرستاری در دانشکده‌های استان آذربایجان غربی در سال 1402: یک مطالعه مقطعی

پیش‌زمینه و هدف: پرستاران بزرگ‌ترین گروه ارائه‌دهنده‌های مراقبت‌های سلامتی هستند که برای عمل به مبانی اخلاقی و اتخاذ تصمیمات درست در حرفه پرستاری، ابتدا باید نسبت به موضوعات اخلاقی آگاه و حساس باشند. عملکرد اخلاقی بخشی از مهارت‌های ضروری در پرستاری است که از پرستارها در مقابل مسائل اخلاقی پیچیده محافظت می‌کند. برای بهبود کیفیت مراقبت‌های سلامتی و اتخاذ تصمیمات اخلاقی بهتر، شناسایی رابطه بین عملکرد اخلاقی و حساسیت اخلاقی از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار است. این مطالعه به‌منظور درک بهتر این رابطه و شناسایی راهکارهایی برای تقویت عملکرد اخلاقی در مراقبت‌های سلامتی انجام شده است. بنابراین مطالعه حاضر باهدف تعیین رابطه بین عملکرد اخلاقی و حساسیت اخلاقی در دانشجویان پرستاری دانشکده‌های واقع در استان آذربایجان غربی انجام شد.مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی از نوع مقطعی-همبستگی بود که بر روی پانصد دانشجوی پرستاری دانشکده‌های واقع در استان آذربایجان غربی انجام شد. جامعه پژوهش شامل دانشجویان پرستاری دانشکده‌های واقع در استان آذربایجان غربی (دانشکده‌ی پرستاری و مامایی ارومیه، دانشکده علوم پزشکی آزاد اسلامی ارومیه، دانشکده علوم پزشکی خوی و پرستاری مهاباد) بودند که با روش نمونه‌گیری سهمیه‌ای با توجه به تعداد دانشجو در هر دانشکده از بین دانشجویان واجد شرایط انتخاب شد.پرسشنامه‌های مشخصات دموگرافیک، حساسیت اخلاقی و عملکرد اخلاقی توسط دانشجویان تکمیل و درنهایت توسط پژوهشگر جمع‌آوری شد. بعد از جمع‌آوری داده‌ها، با استفاده از نرم‌افزار spss نسخه‌ی 24 تحلیل شد.یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که میانگین نمره کلی حساسیت اخلاقی و عملکرد اخلاقی شرکت‌کنندگان به ترتیب 7.05 ± 69.18 و 15.91 ± 146.11 بود. همچنین نتایج نشان داد که ارتباط بین حساسیت اخلاقی و خرده مقیاس‌های آن با عملکرد اخلاقی معنی دار بود (0/01>p). ارتباط بین میزان دانش حرفه ای با عملکرد اخلاقی (نمره کل) معنی دار نبود (0/05

relationship between ethical performance and moral sensitivity of nursing students in universities of west azerbaijan province in 2023: a cross-sectional study

background & aim: nurses are the largest group of healthcare providers and must be aware and sensitive to ethical issues to adhere to ethical principles and make correct professional decisions. ethical performance is an essential skill in nursing that protects nurses against complex ethical issues. identifying the relationship between ethical performance and moral sensitivity is crucial for improving the quality of healthcare and making better ethical decisions. this study aimed to understand this relationship better and identify strategies to enhance ethical performance in healthcare. therefore, the present study was conducted to determine the relationship between ethical performance and moral sensitivity among nursing students at universities in west azerbaijan province.materials & methods: this descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 500 nursing students in universities in west azerbaijan province. the study population included nursing students from the universities in the province (urmia school of nursing and midwifery, islamic azad medical sciences university of urmia, khoy medical sciences university, and mahabad nursing school). a quota sampling method was used to select eligible students based on the number of students in each university. demographic information, moral sensitivity, and ethical performance questionnaires were completed by the students and collected by the researcher. data were analyzed using spss version 24.results: the results showed that the participants’ total mean scores of moral sensitivity and ethical performance were 69.18±7.05 and 146.11±15.91, respectively. additionally, the results indicated a significant correlation between moral sensitivity total mean score and its subscales with ethical performance (p < 0.01). the correlation between professional knowledge and ethical performance total mean score was not significant (p > 0.05).conclusions: the study results demonstrated that moral sensitivity has a significant relationship with ethical performance and can be considered an important and influential factor in improving students’ ethical performance. these findings can help design appropriate educational programs and enhance ethical education among nursing students, promoting ethical performance.
