بررسی اثربخشی روش آرام‌سازی عضلانی بنسون بر اضطراب بیماران تحت همودیالیز در مراکز آموزشی درمانی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی ارومیه؛ یک مطالعه نیمه تجربی

پیش‌زمینه و هدف: اضطراب یک اختلال روان‌پزشکی رایج در بیماران مبتلا به بیماری مزمن کلیوی بوده و آرام‌سازی عضلانی بنسون یک درمان غیرتهاجمی و غیر دارویی برای کاهش اضطراب و بهبود وضعیت است. با توجه به مشکلات این بیماران، به‌کارگیری این روش در تسکین این مشکلات مفید به نظر می‌رسد. لذا این مطالعه باهدف تعیین تاثیر روش آرام‌سازی عضلانی بنسون بر اضطراب بیماران تحت همودیالیز انجام شد.مواد و روش‌ها: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه نیمه تجربی که بر روی بیماران تحت همودیالیز در مراکز آموزشی درمانی طالقانی، و امام خمینی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی ارومیه در سال 1401 انجام شد. با توجه به حجم نمونه محدود، با روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس 60 بیمار تحت همودیالیز واجد شرایط انتخاب شدند و نمونه‌های موردمطالعه به‌صورت تصادفی به دو گروه کنترل و مداخله تقسیم شدند. قبل از شروع مداخله پیش‌آزمونی از هر دو گروه با استفاده از پرسشنامه اضطراب بک به عمل آمد. در گروه مداخله، بیماران طی 8 جلسه آرام‌سازی بنسون را دریافت کردند. در پایان مداخله پرسشنامه مذکور توسط دو گروه مجدداً تکمیل و داده‌ها توسط افزار spss نسخه 16 و آزمون‌های آماری کای دو اسکوئر و تی تست مورد تجزیه‌وتحلیل قرار گرفتند. یافته‌ها: در میانگین نمرات اضطراب در گروه آرام‌سازی بنسون قبل از مداخله و بعد از مداخله اختلاف آماری معناداری مشاهده گردید (p<0.001)؛ ولی در گروه کنترل در میانگین نمرات اضطراب اختلاف معنادار آماری مشاهده نگردید (p=0.687).بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: معرفی و به‌کارگیری روش آرام‌سازی بنسون می‌تواند به‌عنوان یک روش موثر در کاهش اضطراب بیماران تحت همودیالیز استفاده شود. سیاست‌گذاران سلامت می‌توانند این روش مداخله را در محتوای درسی دانشجویان پرستاری قرار دهند.

study of the effectiveness of benson's muscle relaxation approach on the anxiety of patients undergoing hemodialysis in urmia teaching hospitals: a semi-experimental research

background & aim: anxiety is a common psychiatric disorder in patients with chronic kidney disease, and benson muscle relaxation is a non-invasive, non-pharmacological treatment to reduce anxiety and improve the condition. considering the problems of these patients, it seems helpful to use this method in relieving these problems. thus, this study aimed to determine the effect of benson’s muscle relaxation method on hemodialysis patients’ anxiety.materials & methods: this semi-experimental study was conducted on hemodialysis patients at taleghani and emam khomeini treatment and educational center of urmia university of medical sciences in 2023. sixty eligible patients undergoing hemodialysis were selected using convenience sampling. the selected patients were randomly divided into two control and intervention groups. before the intervention, a pre-test was conducted on both groups using the beck anxiety questionnaire. the intervention group received benson’s relaxation approach during eight sessions. at the end of the intervention, both groups completed the questionnaire again, and the data were analyzed in spss ver.16.0 using chi-square and t-test statistical tests.results: a statistically significant difference was observed in the mean anxiety scores in the benson relaxation group before and after the intervention (p<0.001). however, no statistically significant difference was observed in the mean anxiety scores in the control group(p=0.687).conclusion: the introduction and application of benson’s sedation method can effectively reduce the anxiety of hemodialysis patients. health policymakers can include this intervention method in nursing students’ curricula.
