بررسی و مقایسه‌ی میزان فلوراید در خمیردندان‌های رایج ایرانی

مقدمه: جهت انتخاب و تجویز بهترین خمیردندان با میزان فلوراید استاندارد لازم است تا از صحت ادعای برچسب خمیر دندان‌های ساخت داخل کشور اطمینان حاصل کرد. از این‌رو این مطالعه با هدف بررسی و مقایسه میزان فلوراید در خمیردندان‌های رایج ایرانی انجام شد.مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه‌ی توصیفی- مقطعی سال 1402 به بررسی 6 نمونه خمیردندان (وی-وان، سیگنال، پونه، بنسر، نسیمُ کلوزآپ) برند ایرانی موجود در در سطح شهر اصفهان پرداخت. بررسی میزان فلوراید هر نمونه خمیردندان در 9 تیوب از هر نوع توسط یک فرد در آزمایشگاه مورد تایید غذا و داروی وزارت بهداشت درمان و آموزش پزشکی انجام گرفت و میزان فلوراید کل در هر نمونه خمیردندان اندازه‌گیری و ثبت شد. میانگین کل فلوراید در هر نمونه خریداری شده از نقاط مختلف شهر، با 3 تکرار ثبت و با تست one-sample t-test  با حد استاندارد و مقدار درج شده روی تیوب  مقایسه شد (α = 0/05).یافته‌ها: بر اساس نتایج بدست آمده، در هیچ کدام از نمونه‌ها میزان فلوراید اعلام شده با میزان یون فلوراید آزاد محصول همخوانی نداشت. در خمیر دندان‌های وی وان و بنسر و پونه ، علاوه بر آنکه محتوای فلوراید از ادعای برچسب کمتر بود (0/001 > p value) از سطح اپتیموم 1100 ppm نیز کمتر بود. سایر خمیردندان‌های سیگنال، کلوزآپ و نسیم با وجود آنکه محتوای فلوراید از ادعای برچسب کمتر بود ولی تقریباً در حد اپتیموم اثرگذاری بود.نتیجه‌گیری: میزان فلوراید آزاد شده در خمیردندان‌های رایج ایرانی میزان فلوراید اعلام شده با میزان یون فلوراید آزاد محصول همخوانی نداشت لذا لزوم بررسی‌های دقیق‌تر در خصوص تولید و فرمولاسیون خمیردندان‌های ایران باید در دستورکار بهداشت و درمان ایران قرار گیرد.

evaluation and comparing the amount of fluoride in common iranian toothpastes

background: choosing and prescribing the best toothpaste with a standard content of fluoride depends on the knowledge of the iranian manufacturer’s claim. therefore, this study aimed to investigate and compare the fluoride amount in ordinary iranian toothpaste.materials and methods: this descriptive cross-sectional study examined six samples of iranian brand toothpaste available in pharmacies, superfoods, and hypermarkets in isfahan city. to check the amount of fluoride in each toothpaste sample in 3 tubes of each type was done by one person in a laboratory approved by the ministry of health and medical education. the amount of total fluoride in each toothpaste sample was measured and recorded. after collecting the amount of fluoride ion and total fluoride in each sample, the total average was taken from 3 repetitions and recorded as the amount of fluoride for each toothpaste sample. after collecting data, the results were analyzed using one sample t-test (α = 0.05).results: based on the results obtained in none of the samples, the declared amount of fluoride did not agree with the amount of free fluoride ions in the product. in ve wan, banser, and poone toothpaste, in addition to the fact that the fluoride content was lower than the label claim (p value < 0.001), it was also lower than the optimum level of 1100 ppm. other toothpastes, signal, close up, and nasim, although the fluoride content was lower than the label claim. however, it was almost at the optimal level of effectiveness.conclusion: the amount of fluoride released in common iranian kinds of toothpaste declared that the amount of fluoride was inconsistent with the amount of free fluoride ions in the product. therefore, the need for more detailed investigations regarding the production and formulation of iranian toothpaste should be included in iran’s health and treatment agenda.
