بررسی عملکرد دندان‌پزشکان و دانشجویان دندان‌پزشکی اصفهان در زمینه‌ی کنترل عفونت رادیولوژی

مقدمه: با وجود روی کارآمدن روش‌های جدید تصویربرداری در دندان‌پزشکی، رادیوگرافی داخل دهانی بیشترین استفاده را در میان این تکنیک‌ها دارد.از طرف دیگر به دلیل ارتباط بین بیمار و دندان‌پزشک حین تهیه این تصاویر، ریسک انتقال عفونت بالا می‌باشد. لذا هدف از انجام این مطالعه، بررسی میزان رعایت کنترل عفونت در رادیولوژی داخل دهانی توسط دندان‌پزشکان و دانشجویان دانشکده‌ی دندان‌پزشکی اصفهان بود.مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه‌ی توصیفی از نوع تحلیلی- مقطعی بوده که از طریق تکمیل پرسش‌نامه توسط تعدادی دندان‌پزشک و دانشجوی دانشکده‌ی دندان‌پزشکی اصفهان در سال 1398 اجرا گردید. پرسش‌نامه حاوی 11 سوال در 9 زمینه‌ی مرتبط با رعایت کنترل عفونت در دندان‌پزشکی بود. برای جمع‌آوری اطلاعات به هر کدام از گزینه‌های سوال امتیازی تعلق گرفت که حداکثر امتیاز 35 و حداقل آن 7 بود. میانگین وانحراف معیار، فراوانی و ضریب همبستگی spearman محاسبه گردید (0/05 = α).یافته‌ها: میانگین نمره‌ی عملکرد رعایت کنترل عفونت در دانشجویان، 20/9 و در دندان‌پزشکان، 25/2 حاصل شد. همچنین آزمون mann-whitney نشان داد که تفاوت معنی‌داری بین دو گروه دندان‌پزشکان و دانشجویان وجود داشت (0/001 >p value ).نتیجه گیری: میانگین نمره‌ی عملکرد در دو گروه دندان‌پزشکان و دانشجویان در حد متوسطی قرار داشت. عملکرد دندان‌پزشکان بهتر بود و نمره‌ی بالاتری کسب کردند.

evaluation of the practice of dentists and dental students of isfahan university of medical sciences in relation to infection control in radiology

introduction: despite advances in new imaging methods in dentistry, the intraoral radiography technique is still the most widely used imaging technique. meanwhile, the risk of infection transmission is high due to interaction between the patient and the dentist. this study aimed to evaluate the commitment rate to infection control in oral radiology by dentists and students of isfahan dental schoolmaterials and methods: this descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study was performed by completing a questionnaire by several dentists and students of isfahan dental school. the questionnaire contained 11 questions in 9 domains related to infection control in dentistry. each answer was given a specific score (the final point was between a maximum of 35 and a minimum of 5). the mean, standard deviation, frequency, and spearman correlation coefficient (α < 0.05) were calculated.results: according to the answers provided by participants, the mean scores of performances were 20.9 in students and 25.2 in dentists. the mann-whitney test also showed a significant difference between the two groups of dentists and students (p value < 0.001).conclusion: the mean performance score was moderate in the two groups of dentists and students.
