مقایسه‌ی ابعاد دندان‌های قدامی ماگزیلا با استاندارد طلایی در مردان و زنان یک جمعیت ایرانی

مقدمه: جهت دستیابی به زیبایی مطلوب در دندان‌های قدامی ماگزیلا، نسبت پهنا به ارتفاع این دندان‌ها بسیار مهم هستند. یکی از نسبت‌های کاربردی برای تعیین این ابعاد، استاندارد طلایی است. هدف این مطالعه، ارزیابی شیوع استاندارد طلایی در دندان‌های قدامی ماگزیلا و بررسی قرینگی دو سمت و رابطه‌ی آن با جنسیت بود.مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه‌ی مقطعی (توصیفی- تحلیلی) در دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی کردستان در سال ١٣٩٩- ١٣٩8 انجام شد. 100 کست گچی از فک بالای دانشجویان تهیه شد. فوتوگرافی هر کست در شرایط استاندارد گرفته شد. پهنا و ارتفاع هر دندان با نرم‌افزارadobe photoshop cs6 اندازه‌گیری شد و با رنج 85-75 درصد مقایسه شد. داده‌ها بر اساس سمت و جنسیت با آزمون t-test آنالیز شد. در این مطالعه 0/05 = p value معنی‌دار تلقی شد.یافته‌ها: نسبت پهنا به ارتفاع دندان‌های قدامی ماگزیلا در مردان در محدوده‌ی 0/82 تا 0/91 و در زنان در محدوده‌ی 0/84 تا 0/9 قرار داشت. در مقایسه‌ی سمت راست و چپ، بیشترین عدم قرینگی مربوط به کانین مردان و کمترین عدم قرینگی مربوط به انسیزور سانترال مردان و کانین زنان بود. هیچ گونه تفاوت معنی‌داری بر اساس جنسیت وجود نداشت، به جز کانین سمت چپ (0/01 = p value)، که در زنان به صورت معنی‌داری بالاتر از مردان بود (0/87 در مقابل 0/82).نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به شیوع پایین استاندارد طلایی، بهتر است به جای تمرکز بر یک نسبت عددی ثابت، هماهنگی ابعاد دندان‌های قدامی با سایر نسبت‌های صورتی و فکی معیاری برای تعیین ابعاد این دندان‌ها باشد.

comparison the dimensions of maxillary anterior teeth to golden standard in men and women of an iranian population

introduction:to achieve an optimal aesthetic in the maxillary anterior teeth, the ratio of width to length of these teeth is very important. one of the practical proportions for measuring the dimensions of these teeth is the golden standard. this study aims to evaluate the prevalence of golden standard in the maxillary anterior teeth and examine symmetry on both sides and its relationship with gender.materials& methods:this cross-sectional (descriptive and analytical) study was done on kurdistan medical students in 2019-2020, 100 gypsum casts were prepared from the maxilla of students. each cast’s photograph was taken under standard conditions. the width and length of each tooth were measured with adobe photoshop cs6 software and compared with the range %75-%85. the data was analyzed by t-test according to the side and gender. in this study, p value = 0.05 was considered significant.results:the width-to-length ratio of maxillary anterior teeth was in the range of 0.82 to 0.91 in men and 0.84 to 0.9 in women. in the comparison of the right and left sides, the most asymmetry was related to the canines of men, and the lowest asymmetry was related to the central incisor and canine of women. no significant difference due to sex was detected, except the left canine (p value = 0.01), which was significantly higher in women than men.conclusion:due to the low prevalence of golden standard, instead of focusing on a fixed numerical ratio, the harmony of anterior teeth dimensions with other facial and jaw ratios should be a criterion for determining dimensions of these teeth.
