بررسی نگرش و عملکرد متخصصین دندان‌پزشکی کودکان ایران در کاربرد فایل‌های روتاری در پالپکتومی دندان‌های شیری

مقدمه: مهم‌ترین هدف از آماده‌سازی فضای کانال ریشه، پاک‌سازی کانال ریشه می‌باشد. استفاده از وسایل روتاری، افزون بر آسان کردن آماده‌سازی فضای کانال، به پاک‌سازی بهتر آن کمک می‌کنند. هدف از مطالعه‌ی حاضر، بررسی نگرش و عملکرد دندان‌پزشکان کودکان ایران در مورد استفاده از فایل‌های روتاری در پالپکتومی دندان‌های شیری بود.مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه‌ی توصیفی- مقطعی در سال 1399، تعداد 150 متخصص دندان‌پزشکی کودکان شاغل در ایران وارد مطالعه شدند. پرسش‌نامه توسط 148 نفر تکمیل شد. اطلاعات دموگرافیک و نگرش و عملکرد دندان‌پزشکان کودکان ایران در مورد استفاده از فایل‌های روتاری در پالپکتومی دندان‌های شیری جمع‌آوری گردید. داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون chi-square در سطح معنی‌داری 0.05 تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.یافته‌ها: در مطالعه‌ی حاضر 45.6 درصد افراد از فایل‌های روتاری استفاده می‌کردند. در حالی‌که 55.8 درصد از دندان‌پزشکان گزارش کردند که مهم‌ترین مزیت فایل‌های روتاری در مقایسه با فایل‌های دستی، کاهش زمان کار است، 62.2 درصد از دندان‌پزشکان گزارش کردند که مهم‌ترین عیب استفاده از فایل‌های روتاری در مقایسه با فایل‌های دستی در دندان‌های شیری، قیمت زیاد فایل‌های روتاری و تجهیزات لازم می‌باشد. در این مطالعه، 85 درصد از دندان‌پزشکان اعلام کردند که برای هر دو دندان شیری e و d از فایل‌های روتاری استفاده می‌کنند.نتیجه‌گیری: به طور کلی بر اساس نتایج مطالعه‌ی حاضر، میزان شیوع کلی استفاده از فایل‌های روتاری در پالپکتومی دندان‌های شیری در متخصصین دندان‌پزشکی کودکان شاغل در ایران برابر 45.6 درصد می‌باشد.

evaluation of attitude and performance of iranian pediatric dentists in using rotary files in pulpectomy of primary teeth

introduction:the most important goal behind preparing root canal is to clean the root canal. using rotary instruments facilitate the preparation of root canal, and also it helps a better cleaning of the canal. the present study aimed to evaluate the attitude and performance of pediatric dentists about using rotary files in primary dental pulpectomy in iran.materials& methods:the present study is a cross-sectional and descriptive study conducted in 150 iranian pediatric dentists in 2020. the questionnaires were completed by 148 dentists. the demographic data and the practice and attitude of iranian pediatric dentists to using rotary files in the pulpectomy of primary teeth were collected. data were analyzed using chi-square test with significant level less than 0.05.results:in the present study 45.6% of the participants used rotary files. while 55.8% of dentists reported that the most important advantage of rotary files compared to manual files is the reduction of working time, 62.2% of dentists reported that the most significant disadvantage of using rotary files compared to manual files in deciduous teeth is the high price of rotary files and necessary equipment. in this study 85% of the dentists reported using rotary files for both e and d deciduous teeth.conclusion:overall, based on the findings of the present study, the total prevalence of using rotary files in the pulpectomy of primary teeth among iranian pediatric dentists is 45.6%.
