بررسی توزیع فراوانی شکایات از دندان‌پزشکان بر حسب اصول رعایت اخلاق حرفه‌ای در شهرستان اصفهان در بین سال‌های 1388 تا 1398

مقدمه: یکی از مشکلات و چالش‌های مطرح در زمینه‌ی دندان‌پزشکی، مساله‌ی شکایات بیماران است که سبب نارضایتی، اتلاف وقت، هزینه و انرژی برای طرفین می‌شود. انجام این مطالعه می‌تواند برای دانشجویان و دندان‌پزشکان مفید باشد زیرا آن‌ها را قادر خواهد کرد تا مواردی را که منجر به شکایت می‌شود شناخته و در درمان و برخورد با بیماران اصول اخلاق حرفه‌ای را رعایت نمایند. هدف از این مطالعه، بررسی رابطه‌ی میان پایبندی به اخلاق حرفه‌ای با شکایات دندان‌پزشکی در شهرستان اصفهان در بین سال‌های 1388 تا 1398 می‌باشد.مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه‌ی مقطعی، تعداد 706 پرونده‌ی شکایت از دندان‌پزشکان در سازمان نظام پزشکی و معاونت درمان شهرستان اصفهان در بین سال‌های 1388 تا 1398 مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند و اطلاعات مورد نیاز استخراج گردید. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها از آزمون‌های آمار توصیفی- تحلیلی استفاده شد.یافته‌ها: یک روند کلی افزایش در شکایات از دندان‌پزشکان مشاهده شد. بیشترین علت شکایت‌ها مربوط به برخورداری از دانش، مهارت، تجربه‌ی کافی (صلاحیت داشتن)، مشاوره و ارجاع به دندان‌پزشک ذی‌صلاح دیگر، دریافت هزینه‌های اضافی، رفتارهای مخرب و خلاف شئون در محیط کار بود. فراوانی دندان‌پزشکان مرد و عمومی در پرونده‌ها بیشتر بود.نتیجه‌گیری: شکایات دندان‌پزشکی، روند صعودی داشتند و بیشترین علت شکایت از دندان‌پزشکان برخورداری از دانش، مهارت، تجربه‌ی کافی (صلاحیت داشتن)، مشاوره و ارجاع به دندان‌پزشک ذی‌صلاح دیگر بود.

evaluation of frequency distribution of dental complaints according to the principles of observing professional ethics in isfahan city between 2010 to 2020

one of the problems and challenges faced in the field of dentistry can be attributed to filing a lawsuit against the dentist resulting in discontent, consuming time and energy from both parties. this study can be useful for students and dentists because it will enable them to identify cases that lead to filing lawsuits and in turn adhere to the principles of professional ethics when treating and interacting with patients. the purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between adherence to the principles of professional ethics and frequency of lawsuits in isfahan city between 2010 to 2020.materials& methods:in this cross-sectional study, 706 files of lawsuits during 2010-2020 at the isfahan medical archives of records and the deputy department of treatment were evaluated and the relevant information was extracted. the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics test.results:a rising trend was observed in the rate of lawsuits. the most common reason for the lawsuits was related to not having the knowledge, skill and experience, additional consultations and referrals to other dentists, overbilling and unethical behavior in the workplace. a higher frequency of lawsuits were associated to male and general dentists.conclusion:dental complaints had a rising trend, and the most commonly reported cases were related to not having the knowledge, skill, experience and additional consultation and referrals.
