بررسی اثرگذاری متغیرهای اقتصادی بر اتخاذ کمک‌های انسان‌دوستانه زمانی افراد

توضیح مناسب تئوریکی و پیش بینی مطلوب تجربی اتخاذ رفتارهای اخلاقی از سوی افراد، یکی از چالش های موجود در ادبیات موضوع می باشد. مهمترین تئوری موجود در پیش بینی رفتار تجربی افراد یعنی تئوری مطلوبیت انتظاری، فاقد اتفاق نظر در برخورد با رفتارهای اخلاقی و توضیح مکانیزم ظهور این رفتارها در زندگی روزمره بوده است. درعین حالی که مطالعات تجربی پیشین نیز توفیق کمتری در پیش بینی مطلوب نوسان رفتارهای اخلاقی افراد در مدل های معرفی شده داشته اند. در این مطالعه، سعی شده است مدل رفتاری جدیدی در راستای تکمیل مدل های رفتاری پیشین و با برجسته نمودن نقش متغیرهای اقتصادی و داخل نمودن نفع شخصی افراد در تصمیمات اخلاقی ارائه شود. در ادامه، جهت سنجش قدرت پیش بینی مدل رفتاری معرفی شده در خصوص رفتار اخلاقی کمک انسان دوستانه زمانی افراد، داده های نزدیک به 25 هزار نفر از 25 کشور جهان مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفته است. نتایج تجزیه و تحلیل آماری، حاکی از معنی داری متغیرهای اقتصادی وارد شده در مدل و توضیح مطلوب تر نوسان رفتارهای اخلاقی نسبت به مدل های پیشین بوده است. همچنین توجه در روند بهبود قدرت توضیحی مدل، حاکی از این بوده است که متغیرهای اقتصادی، قدرت توضیحی بهتری نسبت به سایر متغیرها در مدل رفتار اخلاقی پایدار و متغیرهای فرهنگی و شخصیتی، قدرت توضیحی بهتری نسبت به سایر متغیرها در مدل رفتار اخلاقی ناپایدار داشته اند. این نتایج، با تاکید بر جنبه های اقتصادی، اتخاذ رفتارهای اخلاقی، می تواند افق جدیدی در راستای شناخت بیشتر و شرایط ظهور این رفتارها در برداشته باشد.

The Effect of Economic Variables on the Adoption of Time Volunteering of Individuals

The appropriate theoretical explanation and the empirical prediction of adopting ethical behaviors by individuals are among the challenges in the economic literature. The most important theory in predicting the empirical behavior of individuals, i.e. the theory of expected utility, lacks unanimity towards dealing with ethical behaviors and explaining the mechanism of the emergence of such behaviors in everyday life. However, previous studies also had less achievement in predicting the variability of the ethical behaviors of individuals in the proposed models. In this study, a new behavioral model is presented to complete the previous models by highlighting the role of economic variables and incorporating the individuals’ selfinterests in ethical decisions. In order to measure the predictive power of the proposed model in explaining the ethical behavior of time volunteering, data from nearly 25,000 people of twentyfive countries around the world is evaluated. The results of statistical analysis indicate the significance of the effects of economic variables on time volunteering while getting the more desirable explanation of the variability of ethical behaviors compared to the previous models. In addition, the findings show that economic variables have more explanatory power than other variables in sustainable ethical behavior model while the cultural and personality variables have more explanatory power than other variables in unsustainable ethical behavior model. These results, with emphasis on the economic aspects of adopting ethical behaviors, can provide a new horizon for further understanding and the new context for the emergence of such behaviors.
