تحلیل اثرات نابرابری درآمدی بر بدهی عمومی دولت در کشورهای عضو اوپک، رویکرد آستانه ای پانل

یکی از مشکلات مهم دولت‌های درحال‌توسعه همچون دولت‌های کشورهای عضو اوپک، کسری بودجه و بدهی‌های فزاینده عمومی دولت است. این شاخص ازجمله مهم‌ترین متغیرهای کلان اقتصادی به شمار می‌رود. از دلایل این بدهی‌های عمومی دولت می‌توان، سیاست‌های دولت در مواجه با نابرابری‌های درآمدی را ذکر نمود. دیدگاه مقابل معتقد است، افزایش نابرابری درآمدی می‌تواند منجر به انباشت سرمایه و درنتیجه افزایش تولید و پرداخت مالیات و کاهش بدهی عمومی دولت گردد. هدف این مطالعه بررسی و تحلیل اثرات نابرابری درآمدی بر بدهی عمومی دولت در کشورهای عضو اوپک طی دوره زمانی 20182010 بود. روش مورد استفاده پانل آستانه‌ای بود. نتایج تحقیق حاضر نشان داد که ارتباط بین نابرابری درآمدی و بدهی عمومی دولت در کشور‌های عضو اوپک غیرخطی و به‌صورت u شکل است. بر این اساس اثرات نابرابری درآمدی بر بدهی عمومی دولت در کشورهای عضو اوپک به‌صورت آستانه‌ای تایید می‌شود.

Analyzing the effects of income inequality on public debt in OPEC member states by threshold panel

AbstractOne of the major problems of developing governments, such as those of OPEC member states, is the government deficit and rising public debt. One of the reasons for this public debt is government policies faced with income inequalities. The opposite side said that the increased income inequality can lead to capital accumulation and thus increase production and tax payments and reduce government debt. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of income inequality on government debt at OPEC member countries are in the period 2010 to 2018. The method used is the threshold panel. The research results show that the relationship between income inequality and public debt at the OPEC member states is Ushaped and not linear. In other words, the effects of income inequality on public debt at OPEC member states are like the threshold.
