Thispaperis intended to be an account of existential spatiality based onan analoj!y with heidegger's wqy of treating the issues of ecstatictemporality. the paper first situates the nexus of existential spatialityandformal space . it then proceeds to the role of the various types ofspatiality in existential analytic. there are certain parallels with mer/eaupanty'sphenomenoloj!y of bodily experience. finally, the scope ofexistential spatiality is delineated
