نقش ابعاد هویت در حرمت خود و بهزیستی روان‎شناختی در بزرگسالی نوظهور

هدف این پژوهش تعیین نقش ابعاد هویت در حرمت خود و بهزیستی روان‎شناختی بود. بدین منظور 554 دانشجوی دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی شهر تهران (270 زن، 284 مرد) در سال تحصیلی 97-96 با روش چندمرحله‎ای انتخاب شدند و به مقیاس ابعاد تحول هویت (لویکس و دیگران، 2008)، سیاهه چندبعدی حرمت خود (اوبراین و اپستاین، 1988) و بهزیستی روان‎شناختی (ریف، 1989) پاسخ دادند. نتایج نشان داد که الف) ابعاد ایجاد تعهد و همانندسازی تعهد با حرمت خود کلی، صلاحیت، عشق‎‎پذیری و بهزیستی روان‎شناختی رابطه مثبت معنادار، ب) اکتشاف نشخواری با حرمت خود کلی، صلاحیت و عشق‎پذیری رابطه منفی معنادار، ج) اکتشاف در گستره با حرمت خود کلی، صلاحیت و بهزیستی روان‎شناختی رابطه مثبت معنادار، و د) اکتشاف در عمق با صلاحیت و بهزیستی روان‎شناختی رابطه مثبت معنادار دارد. نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون چندمتغیری همزمان نیز نشان داد که ابعاد هویت توانایی تبیین 34 درصد از واریانس حرمت خود کلی، 21درصد از واریانس صلاحیت، 13درصد از واریانس عشق‌پذیری و 18درصد از واریانس بهزیستی روان‎شناختی دانشجویان را دارند. یافته‎ها بر لزوم بررسی فرایندهای هویت در بزرگسالی نوظهور تاکید دارد.

The Role of Identity Dimensions inSelfEsteem and Psychological WellBeing in Emerging Adulthood

The present study aimed to investigate the  role of  identity dimensions in the prediction of selfesteem and psychological wellbeing. Five hundred and fifty four (270 females, 284 males) students were selected from Islamic Azad University of Tehran using multistage random sampling. The participants completed the Dimensions of Identity Development Scale (Luyckx & et al., 2008), the Multidimensional SelfEsteem Inventory (O’’Brien & Epstein, 1988), and the Ryff Psychological WellBeing Scale (Ryff, 1989).The result indicated that a) commitment making and identification with commitment positively correlated with global selfesteem, competence, lovability and psychological wellbeing, b) ruminative exploration negatively correlated with global selfesteem, competence and lovability, c) exploration in breadth positively correlated with global selfesteem, competence and psychological wellbeing, and d) exploration in depth positively correlated with competence and psychological wellbeing. The results of simultaneous multiple regression indicated that identity dimensions accounted for 34% variances of global selfesteem, 21%  variances of competence, 13% variances of lovability, and 18% variances of psychological wellbeing. The findings emphasize the necessity of investigating identity process in emerging adulthood.
