The issue of words is a major subject in jurisprudence that has created many debates and polemics among religious scholars.the issue of coining of words is the most crucial one, but the issue of usage which comes after coining a word has not been discussed in details by the experts of principles of jurisprudence. although the issue of usage of words and its truth has its base in the principles of jurisprudence, it should be borne in mind that it has its impact on all branches of jurisprudence and is used in all of them. the present article is an attempt to study the issue of usage and its truth in the principles of jurisprudence. attempts have been made to critically study the viewpoints of experts of principles of jurisprudence and also offer a precise definition of usage of words.
