lncrnaها: راهکاری نو در درمان سرطان

Lncrnaها (long noncoding rnas)، رونوشت های غیر کد کننده ی پروتئین با طول بلندتر از 200 نوکلئوتید هستند که از طریق ساختار مولکولی ویژه­ی خود، با سایر مولکول ها در میان کنش بوده و از این طریق بر شماری از فرایندهای مهم سلولی تاثیرگذار هستند. بررسی کارکردهای lncrna در مسیرهای متنوع سلولی، به نحو گسترده مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته است. این مولکول ها به شکل طبیعی در انواع سلول ها بیان می شوند، اما بیان کاهش یافته یا افزایش یافته آن ها در انواعی از بیماری ها به ویژه سرطان گزارش شده است. مقاله های چاپ شده از سوی نگارندگان طی دو فصل گذشته، به معرفی lncrna ها و نقش های تعیین کننده آن ها در فرایندهای آغازین تومورزایی، توسعه تومور و آپوپتوز پرداخته اند. اهمیت lncrna ­ها در پیدایش سرطان تا جایی است که اندازه­گیری مقادیر برخی lncrnaها به طور ویژه می­تواند کمک شایانی به امر تشخیص یا پیش­آگهی سرطان­های مربوطه نماید. افزون بر این، روش­های درمانی جدیدی بر پایه مهار یا توسعه کارکردlncrna ها در سلول­های سرطانی، به منظور بهبود وضعیت بیماری ابداع شده­اند، اگرچه که هنوز در سطح پژوهشی مطرح هستند. مقاله مروری حاضر، با استفاده از جدیدترین منابع معتبر، چگونگی رویکرد این روش ها و اساس مولکولی آن ها را مورد بررسی و بحث قرار داده است.

LncRNAs: new approach in cancer therapy

LncRNAs are noncoding transcripts with more than 200 nucleotides in length which interact to other molecules through their particular molecular structures and affect on numerous molecular processes. Key functions of lncRNAs in a great variety of cell pathways have been significantly studied. These molecules are expressed in many various cell types, but their decreased or increased expression has been reported in different diseases, especially cancer. Published papers have introduced lncRNAs and their crucial roles in primary steps of tumorigenesis, tumor development and apoptosis. lncRNAs importance in cancer occurrence is so remarkable that level measurement of some of them may be a considerable aid in diagnosis or prognosis of related cancer. Furthermore, a variety of new therapeutic approaches are innovated based on inhibition or enhancement of lncRNAs functions for alleviation disease severity however, they are conceivable only in research concept.
