|
Addiction is one of the most challenging health problems. unfortunately its underlying mechanisms are not fully understood,so that effective therapies are still missing. in a recent nature article,pascoli and colleagues reveal fundamental aspects of cocaine dependency and open new paths to innovative treatment modalities such as deep brain stimulation (dbs). © 2012 kuhn,klosterkötter,gruendler and bartsch.
