مقایسۀ تطبیقی عناصر داستان در داستان‌کوتاه‌های اُ.هنری وجمال‌زاده

اُ.هنری و جمال‌زاده از تاثیرگذارترین داستان‌نویسان در قالب داستان‌کوتاه هستند. از جمال‌زاده به عنوان قصه‌نویس پیشتاز معاصر، پدر داستان‌‌کوتاه در زبان فارسی و آغازگر سبک واقع‌گرایی در ادبیات فارسی نامبرده شده است. اُ.هنری نیز، به خاطر خلق آثار فاخر در قالب داستان کوتاه، به عنوان استاد بزرگ داستان‌کوتاه جهان، مشهور است. هدف از این پژوهش مقایسۀ تطبیقی عناصر داستان در سه داستان کوتاه (کباب غاز، پاشنه‌کش و دوستی خاله خرسه) از محمد‌علی جمال‌زاده و همچنین سه داستان کوتاه (پلیس و سرود کلیسا، پاندول و آخرین برگ) از اُ.هنری است. این جستار با روش تحلیلی- توصیفی به بررسی عناصر داستانی از قبیل: پیرنگ، کشمکش، تعلیق و غافلگیری، شخصیت‌پردازی، درونمایه، زاویه‌دید، صحنه‌پردازی و گفت‌و‌گو می‌پردازد. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که هر دو نویسنده از شخصیت‌های باورپذیر و عوام جامعه در خلق داستان‌های خویش بهره برده‌اند. همچنین زبان طنزگونه هر دو موجب شده است که بسیاری از عبارت‌ها و جمله‌های آنها تبدیل به ضرب‌المثل گردد. به جز داستان پاشنه‌کش و آخرین برگ که شخصیت‌های پویایی دارند، چهار داستان دیگر دارای شخصیت‌های ایستا هستند.

o.henry and jamalzadeh are among the most influential short story writers. jamalzadeh has been named as the leading contemporary short story writer, the father of the short story in the persian language, and the beginner of the realism style in persian literature. o.henry is also known as the world’s great short story master for creating magnificent works in the form of short stories. the aim of this research is the comparative comparison of story elements in three short stories (roast goose, shoehorn, aunt bear’s friendship) by mohammad ali jamalzadeh and also three short stories (the cop and the anthem, pendulum, the last leaf) by o.henry. this essay examines story elements such as plot, conflict, suspense and surprise, characterization, theme, point of view, staging and dialogue with descriptive-analytical method. the findings of the research show that both authors have used believable characters and common people in the creation of their stories. also, the humorous language of both of them has caused many of their expressions and sentences to become proverbs. except for the story of the heeler and the last leaf, which have dynamic characters, the other four stories have static characters.
