بررسی نقش مدائنی در تدوین گزارش‌های تاریخی امامان شیعه«ع»

مدائنی از مورخان قرن سوم هجری دارای تالیفات بی‌شماری در موضوعات مختلف اجتماعی، فرهنگی و به خصوص تاریخی است، احاطه علمی وی بر رخدادهای تاریخ اسلام و مانند آن سبب شد تا وی بیشترین تالیفات را نسبت به هم‌عصران خود داشته باشد که فقط نام آنها در منابع فهرست آمده است. در این میان از جمله موضوعات تدوین یافته‌ی مدائنی، نگارش‌های تاریخی او درباره امامان شیعه(ع) است که برخی از آنها تکمیل کننده موضوعات تدوین شده از سوی مورخان پیشین و برخی دیگر از ابتکارات وی است. این پژوهش براساس داده‌ها و یافته‌های گزارش‌های تاریخی در منابع کُهَن، به تحلیل و توصیف آثار تک‌نگاری تدوین شده توسط مدائنی درباره امامان شیعه(ع) پرداخته است. این مقاله در پی پاسخ به این پرسش است که نقش میراث مکتوب مدائنی درباره تاریخ زندگانی امامان شیعه چگونه بوده و چه تاثیری بر نگاشته‌های بعدی داشته است؟ نتیجه آنکه وی بدون توجه به دیدگاه مذهبی‌اش، به تدوین گسترده گزارش‌های تاریخی با موضوعات خاص درباره امامان شیعه(ع) به‌خصوص درباره حضرت علی(ع) و برخی از امامان شیعه(ع) اقدام کرده است که نشانگر وسعت‌نظر او درباره آن بزرگواران است

investigating madā‘inī’s role in compiling the historical accounts of the shi‘i imams

madā‘inī, one of the historians of the 3rd century ah, was a prolific writer in social, cultural and especially historical fields. his scientific command of the events in the islamic history caused him to have the most number of writings compared to his contemporaries. just the titles of those books have been mentioned in lists of sources. among the subjects compiled by madā‘inī are his historical writings about the shiite imams, some of which complete the works of the previous historians and some others are among his own innovations. this study is based on the historical data in older sources and analyzes and describes monographs compiled by madā‘inī regarding the biography of the shiite imam. this study is seeking to answer the question on the role of madā‘inī’s written heritage regarding the lives of the shiite imams and its effect on the next writings in that regard. without paying attention to his own religious views, he has compiled extensive historical accounts with special issues regarding the shiite imams, especially imam ali and some other of the shiite imams, which shows his broad views about those great personages.
