واکاوی روابط فضل بن سهل با امام رضا

چگونگی ورود و سپس اقامت علی بن موسی الرضا در مرو، پایتخت خلافت اسلامی در دوران خلافت مامون عباسی، موجب طرح فرضیه‌های مختلف به‌ویژه با محوریت برخی شخصیت‌های مهم آن دوران است. فضل بن سهل ملقب به ذوالریاستین در جریان ولایت‌عهدی و دیگر موضوع‌های مهم مرتبط با امام، گاه با تحلیل‌های متفاوت و حتی متضاد مواجه شده است. چنین به نظر می‌رسد برای دست‌یابی به درکی جامع و منطقی از مسائل مربوط به آن حضرت با مامون و دربارش، ضرورت دارد افکار و اقدامات ذوالریاستین در مورد امام به دقت بررسی گردد. این پژوهش تلاش دارد با رویکردی توصیفی تحلیلی و با استفاده از روش پژوهش تاریخی، نقش این وزیر مقتدر را در چگونگی رابطه مامون با امام رضا بررسی کند. یافته‌های پژوهش، گویای نفوذ فوق‌العاده ذوالریاستین بر مامون است، با این حال وی در ارتباط با امام بیش‌تر متاثر از مامون بود و کوشید با نزدیک ساختن افکار و تصمیم‌گیری خود به خلیفه، موقعیت خودش را تحکیم نماید. فضل با وجود داشتن اقتدار، نتوانست بر آن حضرت تسلط یابد، در عین حال شواهد متقنی نیز بر ارادت او نسبت به امام وجود ندارد.

Exploration of the Relationship between Fazl bin Sahl and Imam Reza (PBUH)

The question of how Imam Reza entered and then settled in Marv, the capital of Islamic caliphate under Abbasid Ma’mun, has raised various hypotheses, specifically centered around some of the important personages of that era. Fazl bin Sahl, surnamed ZhurRiyasatayn (literally: owning two presidencies), has been mentioned variously with different or even paradoxical analyses regarding Imam’s vicegerency and other important issues. It seems that to achieve a comprehensive and logical comprehension of issues related to Imam Reza, Ma’mun and his court, it is necessary to scrutinize DhurRiyasatayn’s thoughts and actions regarding Imam Reza. The present study attempts to use a descriptiveanalytical approach and the method of historical study to investigate the role of this powerful vizier of Ma’mun regarding Ma’mun’s relation with Imam Reza. The findings of the study show that DhurRiyasatayn had a tremendous influence on Ma’mun, while he himself was influenced by Ma’mun in his relation to Imam, and tried to strengthen his position by approximating his thoughts and decisions to caliph. Fazl, as an authoritative vizier, could manage to dominate Imam, while there is no certain evidence for his being sincere to Imam.
