ارزیابی نظرات دانشجویان دانشکده دندان‌پزشکی کرمان درباره امکانات و نحوه آموزش در بخش رادیولوژی

زمینه و هدف: آموزش عملی در دندان پزشکی از اهمیت بسیار زیادی برخوردار است و به طور مستقیم در درمان بیماران و سلامت دهان و دندان افراد جامعه تاثیر دارد. هدف از انجام این مطالعه، ارزیابی نظرات دانشجویان در خصوص امکانات، فضای فیزیکی و نحوه آموزش در بخش رادیولوژی فک و صورت دانشکده دندان پزشکی کرمان بوده است.روش کار: این مطالعه مقطعی توصیفی، در سال 1393 بر روی دانشجویان دندان پزشکی که حداقل یک واحد درس رادیولوژی را گذرانده و به روش سرشماری انتخاب شده بودند، انجام شد. ابزار جمع آوری داده ها شامل یک پرسش نامه مشتمل بر 28 سوال شامل 5 بخش (در حیطه های ارزیابی تجهیزات و وسایل، کیفیت آموزش از نظر مهارت های تشخیصی، کیفیت آموزش از نظر مهارت های بالینی، نحوه آموزش عملی روی بیمار و سوالات متفرقه) که توسط محققین طراحی شده و روایی و پایایی آن مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفته بود و بخشی نیز شامل مشخصات دموگرافیک بود. داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار آماری spss در رایانه ثبت شد و با به کارگیری آزمون های آماری t و anova در سطح معنی داری 050/0 >p مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.یافته ها: در این پژوهش، 146 نفر از دانشجویان دندان پزشکی کرمان شرکت کردند که 2/43 درصد آنان مرد و 8/56 درصد زن بودند. میانگین نمره پرسش نامه 42/14 ± 24/76 از 140 بود. نظر دانشجویان نسبت به بخش رادیولوژی به صورت کلی متوسط ارزیابی شد. نظر دانشجویان در حیطه سوالات در زمینه آموزش عملی تکنیک های مختلف و همچنین تشخیص شکستگی های استخوانی و دندانی از طریق رادیوگرافی نامناسب بود. به نظر دانشجویان، در حیطه تجهیزات و وسایل، تعداد و کیفیت دستگاه های رادیوگرافی نامناسب بود. بین دو جنس و ورودی های مختلف از لحاظ میزان رضایت تفاوت آماری معنی داری وجود نداشت.نتیجه گیری: در مطالعه حاضر، دانشجویان از آموزش های بخش رادیولوژی اغلب راضی بودند، اما کیفیت و تعداد دستگاه های رادیوگرافی را پایین ارزیابی کردند. تعمیر و به روز کردن تجهیزات و دستگاه های رادیوگرافی توصیه می شود.

Assessment of the Opinion of Kerman Dentistry Students, Iran, about Training Method and Equipment in the Dental Radiology Department

Background Objective: Clinical training is of great importance in dentistry, and has a direct impact on health of the society and treatment of patients. The present study was conducted with the aim to obtain students rsquo; point of views about facilities, physical environment, and training methods in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, School of Dentistry of Kerman University of Medical Sciences, Iran.Methods: This descriptive and crosssectional study was conducted on dental students, who had had passed at least 1 unit of radiology course. The participants were selected through census sampling method. The data collection tool was a questionnaire consisting of 28 items in 5 scales and a section on demographic information. The 5 scales consisted of evaluation of equipment, quality of education in terms of diagnosis skills, quality of education in terms of clinical skills, practical education on patients, and miscellaneous questions. The questionnaire was designed by the researchers and its validity and reliability were evaluated. Data were analyzed in SPSS software using ttest and analysis of variance (ANOVA). All Pvalues of less than 0.05 were considered significant.Results: Of the 146 respondents, 43.2% were men and 56.8% were women. The mean score of the questionnaire was 76.24 plusmn; 14.42 from a total of 140. Overall students rsquo; satisfaction was at a moderate level. Students rsquo; satisfaction level with practical training in different techniques, and bone and dental fractures diagnosis using radiography was low. In the students rsquo; view the quantity and quality of radiography devices was inadequate. There was no statistically significant association between different inputs in terms of satisfaction and the students rsquo; gender.Conclusion: The students in the present study were relatively satisfied with radiology courses. However, in their opinion, the quantity and quality of radiology devices were low. Thus, the repairing and updating of the radiography devices is recommended.
