بررسی مهارت‌های تفکر انتقادی دانشجویان دانشکده مدیریت و اطلاع‌رسانی پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران در سال 1392

زمینه و هدف: تفکر انتقادی مهارتی برای تصمیم‌گیری بهتر دانشجویان است. اطلاع از وضعیت تفکر انتقادی در دانشجویان برای برنامه‌ریزی تحصیلی و آموزشی مفید می‌باشد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی مهارت‌های تفکر انتقادی دانشجویان دانشکده مدیریت و اطلاع‌رسانی پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران در سال 1392 انجام شد.  روش کار: این مطالعه از نوع مقطعی تحلیلی بود که بر روی 338 نفر از دانشجویان مشغول به تحصیل در دانشکده مدیریت و اطلاع‌رسانی پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران در سال 1392 صورت گرفت. ابزار جمع‌آوری اطلاعات، پرسش‌نامه مهارت‌های تفکر انتقادی کالیفرنیا فرم ب( california critical thinking skills testform b یا cctst form b ) بود. داده‌های جمع‌آوری شده توسط آزمون‌های آماری independent t و anova در نرم‌افزار spss تجزیه و تحلیل گردید.  یافته‌ها: میانگین نمره تفکر انتقادی در بین دانشجویان دختر 50/4 ± 62/7 و در بین دانشجویان پسر 69/3 ± 47/7 به دست آمد که از این نظر تفاوت معنی‌داری بین دو جنس مشاهده نگردید. بر اساس آزمون anova ، بین مقطع تحصیلی و نمره تفکر انتقادی رابطه معنی‌داری بود (002/0 = p ). بالاترین نمره تفکر انتقادی با میانگین 98/8 در بین دانشجویان مقطع کارشناسی ارشد مشاهده شد. همچنین بین نمره تفکر انتقادی و رشته تحصیلی رابطه معنی‌داری وجود داشت (001/0 = p ).  نتیجه‌گیری : بر اساس نتایج به دست آمده، مهارت‌های تفکر انتقادی در دانشجویان مورد مطالعه در تمامی ابعاد سطح پایینی داشت. بنابراین آموزش در زمینه افزایش مهارت‌های تفکر انتقادی دانشجویان ضروری به نظر می‌رسد.

Evaluating Critical Thinking Skills in Students of the School of Management and Medical Informatics, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran, in 2013

Background Objective: Critical thinking skills in students are essential to making better decisions. Obtaining information on the critical thinking skills of students is useful in curriculum planning. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the critical thinking skills of students of the School of Management and Medical Informatics, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran, in 2013.  Methods: This was a crosssectional, analytical study. The study sample consisted of 338 students of the School of Management and Medical Informatics of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2013. The data collection tool used was the California Critical Thinking Skills TestForm B (CCTSTForm B). Data were analyzed using independent ttest and ANOVA in SPSS software.  Results: The mean score of critical thinking among female students was 7.62 ± 4.50 and among male students 7.47 ± 3.69 this difference was not significant. ANOVA showed a significant relationship between critical thinking score and level of education (P = 0.002). The highest mean score of critical thinking (8.98) was observed among M.Sc. students. Moreover, a significant relationship was observed between critical thinking score and field of study (P = 0.001).  Conclusion: The results show that the critical thinking skills of the studied students were poor in all aspects hence, training students in this respect is essential.
