   Investigation of the Influence of Rhythmic Plays on Social Skills of Preschoolers

چکیده    The present research investigates the influence of rhythmicplays on social skills of preschoolers. research methodology was experimentaland included a control group and an experiment group. statisticalpopulation of the present research included all male preschoolersof anar city and 40 of them were selected randomly (20 people as controlgroup members and 20 people as experiment group members). thechildren were aged 4-6 years old. before doing rhythmic plays, socialskills of the children were evaluated by means of vebrt’s56-item parents’questionnaire. then, experiment group members did rhythmic plays in16 sessions each lasting 1 hour. rhythmic plays included musical linegame, diamond move, color balls, numbers table game and . then; socialskills of both groups were evaluated through a posttest. data wereanalyzed by means of covariance analysis and spss18. results showedthat teaching rhythmic plays has significant influence on children socialskills. teaching rhythmic plays has also significant influence on increasingsocial adequacy, and relationships with peers. considering the influenceof rhythmic plays on children social skills, pre-school centers areadvised to include rhythmic plays in their educational programs.
