Studying the Relationship Between Social Capital and Knowledge Management of Managers and Teachers in High Schools in Ahar

The goal of this research paper is to study the relationshipbetween social capital and knowledge management of managersand teachers in high schools in ahar. to do so, knowledge managementwas defined by using bhatt’s idea in five dimensions of knowledgeachievement, knowledge record, knowledge transfer, knowledge creation,and knowledge application and social capital was defined based on nahapiet& ghoshal’s theory within three dimensions of structural, cognitive,and communicative aspects. thus, one main hypothesis and five minor hypotheses were designed. the statistical population of this researchentails all managers and teachers in high schools in ahar whowere totally 313 persons. the statistical sample was defined to be 171persons after using the sample volume identification tables of limitedpopulations posed by kerjesi & morgan and also cohen. these individualswere selected by using a random class sampling method. to gatherdata we have used a questionnaire whose validity was approved formallyand reliability was approved by using kronbach’s alpha coefficient. thequestionnaire was designed regarding the operational definition of researchvariables, social capital and knowledge management. also in orderto analyze data in this research, we have used pearson’s correlationtest. results showed that there is a meaningful relationship betweensocial capital and 5 dimensions of knowledge management of managersand teachers in high schools in ahar.
