مطالعۀ نقش‌مایۀ بته‌جقه در فرش ایران

نقش بته جقه نقش مایه ای است که در هنر فرش ایران دورۀ اسلامی به کار گرفته شده است. سابقۀ استفاده از این نقش در هنر ایران همواره مورد بحث بوده است. گروهی این نقش را نقش مایه ای ایرانی می دانند که از تزیینات پیش از اسلام متولد شده است، مانند درخت سرو یا نقش بال حیوانات دورۀ ساسانی. در مقابل، گروه دیگر آن را نقش مایه ای می دانند که به واسطۀ شال های کشمیری هند به هنر ایران وارد شده است. نقش بته جقه از نقوش بسیار موردتوجه در میان بافندگان محسوب می شود. در اغلب شهرهای ایران نقش بته جقه، فرش ها و گلیم ها را تزیین نموده است. این نقش بیش از هر منطقه ای در دست باف های عشایری فارس، مانند فرش های بولوردی و قشقایی به کار رفته است. اما در نقاط دیگر مانند بیجار و همدان و در میان عشایر ترکمن و کردهای مناطق غربی ایران نیز رواج و مقبولیت دارد. در رابطه با نقش بته جقه بیش از هفتاد دستۀ طبقه بندی شده گزارش شده است؛ در حالی که تنها از نزدیک به بیست گروه با نام گذاری دقیق در منابع گوناگون نام برده شده است. با توجه به گستردگی و تنوع انواع مختلف در هر گروه، گستردگی انواع نقش مایۀ بته جقه بالغ بر ده ها نمونۀ متنوع می شود. کاربرد نقش مایۀ بته جقه نه تنها به عنوان نقش تزیینی، بلکه به عنوان پایه ای در شکل گیری برخی نقشه ها نیز بوده است.

A study on Paisley Motif in Iranian Carpet

Paisley (butaJeghe) a motif which has been applied in Iran rsquo;s carpets in Islamic era. The history of using this pattern in Iran rsquo;s art has always been a controversial issue. Some think of it as a motif belonging to PreIslamic decorations such as cedar or pattern of animal wings of the Sassanid era. Meanwhile, others see it as a motif which was imported by one of the cashmere shawls from India into the Iranian art. Paisley pattern is highly considered among Iranian weavers. It has decorated the carpets and rugs of many Iranian cities. It has also been used in handwoven products of Fars nomads more than carpets of Qashqai and Bolvardi nomads. It has also been welcomed and spread among carpets of other regions like Bijar, Hamadan, Kurds of West of Iran and also hand weavings of Turkaman Nomads. Regarding paisley motif, More than 70 categories had been reported while only about twenty groups had been cited with precise names among different references. Due to the diversity and extent of its types in each group, one can find tens of its various samples. The usage of Paisley motif has not only been for decoration, but also as a foundation for shaping some carpet designs.
