تعیین ارتباط بین پروفایل لیپیدی و وضعیت شاخص بدنی در سگ های خانگی شهرستان اصفهان

با توجه به اینکه بالا بودن چربی خون یکی از مهمترین عوامل خطرساز ابتلا به سایر بیماری در حیوانات خانگی می باشد، مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین ارتباط بین پروفایل لیپییدی و وضعیت شاخص بدنی در سگ های خانگی شهرستان اصفهان، صورت گرفت. این مطالعه نیمه تجربی روی 120 قلاده سگ، ارجاعی به کلینیک های دامپزشکی شهر اصفهان، صورت گرفت.. نمونه مورد نظر براساس سیستم ارزیابی شاخص بدنی (bcs) ، به 3 گروه 40 تایی از سگ های با وضعیت بدنی نرمال، چاق و لاغر تقسیم شدند و گروه ها از نظر پروفایل لیپیدی مورد مقایسه قرار گرفتند. بین سگ های چاق و لاغر از نظر میزان قند خون تفاوت معنی داری مشاهده نشد (0.05 gt;p). از نظر میزان تری گلیسرید، کلسترول، لیپوپروتئین با دانسیته پایین (ldl) و لیپوپروتئین با دانسیته بالا hdl)، تفاوت معنی داری بین گروه های مختلف مشاهده شد (0.05>p). میزان تری گلیسرید، کلسترول، ldl و hdl در سگ های لاغر به صورت معنی-داری کمتر از سگ های چاق بود (0.05>p). سطح تری گلیسرید، کلسترول، ldl و hdl و گلوکز در دو جنس تفاوت معنی داری نداشت (0.05

the relationship between lipid profile and body condition score in domestic dogs of isfahan

considering that high blood fat is one of the most important risk factors for other diseases in pets, the aim of the study was to determine the relationship between lipid profile and body condition score in domestic dogs in isfahan, iran. the semi experimental study was conducted on 120 dogs referred to veterinary clinics in isfahan. all dogs were suffering from hyperlipidemia. the desired sample was divided into three groups of 40 dogs and compared in terms of lipid profile. no significant difference was observed between obese and thin dogs in terms of blood sugar levels (p gt;0.05). a significant difference was observed between different groups in terms of triglycerides, cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (ldl), and high-density lipoprotein (hdl) levels (p lt;0.05). triglyceride, cholesterol, ldl, and hdl levels were significantly lower in thin dogs than obese dogs (p lt;0.05). there was no significant difference in the levels of triglycerides, cholesterol, ldl, hdl, and glucose between the two sexes (p gt;0.05). blood glucose levels were higher in small breeds than large breeds (p=0.03). a weak correlation was observed between body score and triglyceride, cholesterol, ldl, and hdl levels. with the increase in obesity among domestic dogs, changes should be made to their lifestyle and diet.
