بررسی فراوانی و ارزیابی بالینی عفونت همزمان روتاویروس با عوامل آدنوویروس و آستروویروس

گاستروانتریت ویروسی یکی از شایع ترین بیماری ها در تمام گروه های سنی در دنیا بوده و سالانه در دنیا بالغ بر 700 میلیون مورد بیماری اسهالی در کودکان زیر پنج سال به وقوع می پیوندد. روتاویروس، نورویروس، آدنوویروس و آستروویروس از عوامل مهم ایجادکننده گاستروانتریت حاد محسوب میشوند. با توجه به اهمیت ارزیابی عفونت های همزمان در اسهال نوزادان ، در این مطالعه فراوانی شیوع عفونت همزمان روتاویروس با عوامل آستروویروس و آدنوویروس و بررسی پارامتر های بالینی از جمله تب، مدت و شدت اسهال در موارد مثبت عفونت همزمان  مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. بررسی در این تحقیق عفونت همزمان روتاویروس با عوامل آدنوویروس و آسترویروس در بین 28 نمونه مثبت روتاویروس جمع‌آوری شده از کودکان زیر پنج سال مبتلا به گاستروآنتریت مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت.بر اساس نتایج به دست آمده،  فراوانی تعداد عفونت همزمان روتاویروس - آدنوویروس دو مورد  و عفونت روتاویروس - آسترویروس در چهار کودک بود. ارزیابی مستندات موجود در پرونده بیماران و ارتباط آن با اهداف مطالعه کنونی نشان می دهد که در عفونت مثبت همزمان فقط افزایش طول مدت اسهال گزارش شده و علائم خاصی دیگری از جمله افزایش طول مدت تب و شدت اسهال نبوده است. بر اساس نتایج به دست آمده،  تشخیص همزمان عوامل اسهال ویروسی به جهت پیش بینی طول مدت اسهال و احتمال ایجاد سایر علائم بالینی الزامی بوده و در روند درمان میتواند کمک کننده باشد.

investigation of the frequency and clinical evaluation of co-infection of rotavirus with adenovirus and astrovirus

viral gastroenteritis is one of the most common ailments in all age groups acrosdxdxs the globe, and more than 700 million cases of diarrhea occur in children under five years of age. rotavirus, norovirus, adenovirus and astrovirus are important causes of acute viral gastroenteritis. co-infection studies have been conducted in iran in the past, but these studies were limited and heterogeneous. the purpose of this study is to investigate the frequency of co-infection of rotavirus with astrovirus and adenovirus and to investigate clinical parameters such as fever, duration and severity of diarrhea in positive cases of co-infection. in this article, the co-infection of rotavirus with adenovirus and astrovirus among 28 rotavirus positive samples collected from children under five years of age with gastroenteritis was investigated by molecular method. the frequency of simultaneous rotavirus-adenovirus infection was two and rotavirus-astrovirus infection was observed in four children. in addition to this, the documentation available in the patients’ files and its relationship with the objectives of the current study show that the positive results of simultaneous infection only increased the duration of diarrhea and did not cause other specific symptoms such as duration of fever and severity of diarrhea. in this study, the sample size was low, but according to the results, it can be said that the current study shows the importance of simultaneous diagnosis of viral diarrhea factors in order to predict the duration of diarrhea and the possibility of other clinical symptoms.
