جایگاه و کارکرد اختلاف در جامعه بشری از نظر علامه طباطبایی

خلقت مستلزم اختلاف است. چون تا کثرتی نباشد خلقتی نیست. این معنا از اختلاف بر عالم مخلوقات حاکم است و مبنای همه انواع دیگر احتلاف است، اما در میان انسان ها اگرچه اینگونه اختلاف وجود دارد، ولی نوع دیگری از اختلاف هم هست که ناشی از اندیشه ها، اراده ها و اعمال آدمیان است. زمانی که اختلافات جامعه بشری به حدّ خاصی رسید شرایع الهی نازل شدند تا به جامعه سامانی دهند. ولی با آمدن ادیان، دسته ای از آدمیان در خود دین اختلاف کردند و نوع تازه ای از اختلاف پدید آمد، بنابراین رسالت دین الهی داوری در میان اختلافات ناشی از معیشت و اختلاف بر سر اصل دین است . نوع دیگری از اختلاف ، اختلاف در درجات ایمان است که جز با گفتگوی آزاد و بحث عقلانی حل نمی شود. بنابراین گرچه دسته ای از اختلافات قابل رفع است ولی دسته ای از اختلافات عین حیات آدمیان است و اصل در حیات آدمی، اداره کردن اختلافات است و نه رفع کامل آن که در این عالم محال وقوعی است.

The Status and Function of Difference in Human Community from the View point of Allameh Tabatabaee

Creation necessitates differences because creation is not fulfilled without plurality. This sense of difference governs the universe and it is the basis of all other types of differences. However, althoughthis kind of difference exists among human beings, there is another kind of difference arising out of ideas, willpowers and the actions of human beings. When differences in human community reached a certain level, divinesharirsquo ahswere revealed to create discipline in human community. Nonetheless,with the advent of religions, a group of people had differences overthe religion itself and a new kind of difference arose. Thus, the mission of divine religionsis to arbitrate among disputes arising out of disagreements over the very religion. Another type of difference refers to the differences in the rate of faith that cannot be resolved except through open dialogue and rational discussion. Hence, although a group of differencescan be resolved, another groupmakes the core of human life and what is of outmost importance in human life is how to handle disputes and not to get rid of them which is completely impossible.
