درباره نزول قرآن در ماه رمضان، از دیر زمان دانشمندان اسلامی نظریات مختلفی ابراز کرده اند. اما به نظر می‌رسد هیچ کدام از آنها متکی به دلایل محکم نباشد و در طی مقاله به اجمال مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. به نظر می‌رسد آیات حاکی از نزول قرآن در ماه رمضان و شب قدر ناظر به یک سنت لایتغیر الهی است و آن عبارتست از این که هر امر محکم، ذی شان و هر حادثه مهمی در شب قدر، تقدیر، اندازه گیری و تصویب می‌شود. زیرا شب قدر شب حکم است. آنگاه در زمان و مکان مقدر به منصّه ظهور و بروز می‌رسد، ازاین رو قرآن کریم که نسخه حکیمانه و محکم هدایت بشر الی الابد است در شب قدر، نزول و بروزش در مدت رسالت پیامبر$ تقدیر و تصویب شده است. لذا »در شب قدر امر خدا بر این قرار گرفته که قرآن را به صورت تدریجی (برای هدایت مردم) بر قلب پیامبر حضرت محمد بن عبدالله صلوات ا...علیه و آله نازل کند «. دلایل قرآنی و روایی بر این نظر دلالت دارد و تفصیل آن در مقاله بیان شده است.

A New Theory About the Revelation of the Qur'an in Ramaḍān

Islamic scholars have expressed different opinions about the revelation of the Qur #39;an in Ramaḍān. But none of them seem to be based on solid evidence and are briefly reviewed in the article. It seems that the verses indicating the revelation of the Qur #39;an in the month of Ramaḍān and the Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Decree) refer to an immutable divine tradition; and it means that every firm, dignified matter and every important event is measured and approved on the Laylatul Qadr, because the Laylatul Qadr is the night of judgment. Then it appears and manifests at the appointed time and place. Therefore, the Holy Qur #39;an, which is a wise and solid copy of the guidance of mankind until eternity, was revealed on the Laylatu Qadr during the Prophet #39;s mission. So, on the Laylatul Qadr, Allah #39;s command is to reveal the Qur #39;an gradually on the heart of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his purified progeny) to guide the people.
