بازشناسی مفهوم توسعه معنایی (بررسی موردی: توسعه معنایی در آیه 127 سوره اعراف و چالش‌های ترجمه و تفسیر آن)

قاعده »توسعه معنایی « از قواعد مربوط به مباحث الفاظ و ظاهراً مبحثی جدید و متفاوت با قواعد مشابه است که در موارد زیادی میان آن‌ها خلط می‌شود. مراد از »توسعه معنایی «، چندمعنایی به مفهوم دلالت لفظ بر چند معنا در عرض یکدیگر نیست؛ بلکه مراد، شمول و توسعه لفظ بر معانی در طول همان اصل معنایی اولیه خویش است. این ظرفیت زبانی در دوره قبل از ظهور اسلام نیز وجود داشت؛ ولی با ظهور اسلام روشن‌تر گردیده و در فرهنگ اسلامی، واژه‌ها با این نگاه، گستره و توسعه بیشتری پیدا کرد و مفاهیم جدیدی در زبان قرآن کریم و روایات عرضه شد. لذا اهل‌بیت(ع) از دو زاویه تفسیری و تعلیمی به ارائه نمونه‌هایی از توسعه معنایی در روایات تفسیری پرداخته‌اند. مهم‌ترین عامل در تشخیص توسعه معنایی در قرآن کریم، سیاق آیه است و با توجه به همین امر است که به نظر می‌رسد بسیاری از برداشت‌ها و معادل‌ها به‌ویژه در ترجمه‌های قرآن، معادل‌های دقیقی نبوده و در مواردی نیز نادرست باشد. به عنوان نمونه تفاوت فضای آیه 127 سوره اعراف و آیه 4 سوره قصص، نیازمند قبول توسعه معنایی در آیه سوره اعراف است که بیشتر مفسرین و مترجمین به جهت مشابهت این آیات، سیاق را نادیده گرفته و چنین توسعه معنایی را برداشت نکرده‌اند و سعی کرده‌اند تا در تبیین تفاوت دو سیاق، دست به توجیهاتی بزنند اما در توسعه معنایی این آیه شریفه، »قتل « به معنای کشتن روح تفکر و اندیشه در انسان و »استحیاء « نیز به معنای از میان بردن حیا (حیاربایی) از زنان درجامعه است.

Recognition of the Concept of Semantic Development(Case study: Semantic Development in Verse 127 of Surah al-A'raf and the Challenges of its Translation and Interpretation)

ldquo;Semantic development rdquo; is an issue related to lexicology, and it is apparently a new issue which is different from similar issues that are often confused with it. ldquo;Semantic development rdquo; does not mean polysemy in the sense that a word has several different meanings. Rather, it denotes the inclusion and development of the meanings of a word along its very original semantic root. This linguistic capacity existed in the preIslamic period, too; however, with the advent of Islam, it became clearer, and words became more extended and developed with this view in Islamic culture, and new concepts were introduced in the language of the holy Quran and narrations. Therefore, Ahl alBayt (a.s.) have provided examples of semantic development in interpretive narrations considering both interpretive and didactic perspectives. The most important factor in recognizing semantic development in the holy Quran is the context of the verse, and due to this, it seems that many interpretations and equivalents, especially in the translations of the Quran, are not exact equivalents and in some cases are incorrect. For example, understanding the difference between the atmospheres of verse 127 of Surah alAchr('39')raf and verse 4 of Surah alQasas requires accepting the semantic development in the verse of Surah alAchr('39')raf. However, most commentators and translators, due to the similarity of these verses, have ignored the context and have not perceived such semantic development and tried to resort to justification in explaining the difference between the two contexts, but in the semantic development of this glorious verse, qatl means killing the spirit of thought in man, and istihya rsquo; refers to removing modesty of women in society.
