نگاه غزالی به مسئولیت اخلاقی با استناد به آیات

غزالی، مسئولیت اخلاقی را به معنای در معرض مواخذه قرار گرفتن بیان نموده است، مواخذه به این معنا که در دل او صفتی ایجاد می‌شود که از حق تعالی دور می‌گردد، در نظام فکری غزالی، انسان حتی در رابطه با حکم دل و عزم بر انجام فعل هم، مسئول است. غزالی، با نگاه فردی و جمعی انسان را در مقابل خدا، خود و دیگران مسئول می‌داند. منتهی برای ایجاد این مسئولیت، عامل فعل باید شرایط تحقق عمل را داشته باشد و از عواملی که مانع حس مسئولیت در انسان می‌گردد اجتناب کند. بنابراین غزالی، مسئولیت اخلاقی را دارای مولفه‌ها و شرایطی می‌داند، او با پشتوانه محکم آیات، دیدگاههای خود را مطرح کرده است هر چند با توجه به تعلق خاطر غزالی به اشاعره، مبانی فکری او در قبال مسئولیت اخلاقی، چالش برانگیز است و تضادهائی را ایجاد نموده است.

Ghazali's View of Moral Responsibility Based on Quranic Verses

Ghazali believes that lsquo;moral responsibility rsquo; denotes lsquo;being subjected to reprimand rsquo;, and reprimand means that some kind of quality is created in man rsquo;s heart, and he distances himself from God, the Exalted. In Ghazali rsquo;s belief, man is responsible for the judgment in his heart and for his intention for doing an action. With an individual and collective outlook, Ghazali holds man accountable to God, himself and others, but in order for this responsibility to be realized, the doer of the action must meet the requirements of the fulfillment of the action and avoid the factors that impede the sense of responsibility in man. Therefore, Ghazali considers moral responsibility to have its components and conditions. With the strong support of the Quranic verses, he expresses his views although, due to his attachment to the Ash rsquo;arites, his ideas of moral responsibility are challenging and have created some contradictions
