مقایسه افسردگی، افکار خودکشی و حمایت اجتماعی بین ترنس‌سکشوال‌های با و بدون تغییر جنسیت

اهداف: پذیرش اجتماعی افراد مبتلا به اختلال هویت جنسی در جامعه بسیار سخت است و این شرایط می‌تواند منجر به بروز افسردگی و افکار خودکشی شود. از طرفی حمایت اجتماعی بر عوامل روان‌شناختی این افراد تاثیر بسیاری دارد. لذا این پژوهش با هدف مقایسه افسردگی، افکار خودکشی و حمایت اجتماعی بین ترانس‌سکشوال‌های با و بدون تغییر جنسیت انجام شد.ابزار و روش‌ها: این پژوهش توصیفی از نوع علی مقایسه‌ای در سال 1397 در بین 60 نفر از اعضای ترنس‌سکشوال با تغییر جنسیت (30 نفر) و بدون تغییر جنسیت (30 نفر) انجمن حمایت از بیماران ملال جنسیتی ایران انجام شد که به شیوه نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند و پرسش‌نامه‌های افسردگی بک، افکار خودکشی بک و حمایت اجتماعی شربون و استوارت را تکمیل نمودند. تحلیل داده‌ها توسط نرم‌افزار spss 24 و با استفاده از آزمون تحلیل واریانس چندمتغیره صورت گرفت.یافته‌ها: میانگین نمرات متغیرهای افسردگی و افکار خودکشی در گروه ترانس‌سکشوال بدون تغییر جنسیت نسبت به گروه ترنس‌سکشوال با تغییر جنسیت بالاتر بود، ولی در متغیر حمایت اجتماعی، گروه ترنس‌سکشوال با تغییر جنسیت میانگین نمره بالاتری داشت. بین دو گروه از نظر متغیرهای افکار خودکشی و حمایت اجتماعی تفاوت معنی‌دار وجود داشت (0/01=p)، ولی از نظر متغیر افسردگی تفاوت معنی‌داری مشاهده نشد (0/05>p).نتیجه‌گیری: در هر دو گروه ترانس‌سکشوال با و بدون تغییر جنسیت، افسردگی و افکار خودکشی به میزان متوسط وجود دارد، ولی افراد ترانس‌سکشوال بدون تغییر جنسیت دارای افکار خودکشی بیشتر بوده و افراد ترانس‌سکشوال با تغییر جنسیت بیشتر به‌دنبال حمایت اجتماعی هستند.

Comparison of Depression, Suicidal Ideation and Social Support between Transsexual People with and without Gender Change

Aims: Social acceptance of people with sexual identity disorder in society is very difficult and these conditions can lead to depression and suicidal ideation. On the other hand, social support has a great influence on the psychological factors of these people. The aim of this study was to compare the depression, suicidal ideation, and social support between transsexuals with and without gender change.Instruments Methods: This causalcomparative study was carried out on 60 transsexuals with (N=30) and without gender change (N=30) of the association for the protection of Iran gender dysphoric patients in 2018. The subjects were selected using the convenience sampling method and they completed the questionnaires of the Beck depression inventory, Beck suicidal ideations, and Sherbourne and Stewart social support. Data were analyzed by SPSS 24 software through the multivariate analysis of variance test.Findings: The mean scores of depression and suicidal ideations variables in the transsexual group without gender change were higher than the transsexual group with gender change, but the mean score of social support variable in the transsexual group with gender change was higher than another group. There was a significant difference between the two groups regarding the variables of suicidal ideation and social support (p=0.01), but there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of depression variable (p>0.05).Conclusion: The depression and suicidal ideations are in the moderate range in both transsexual groups, with and without gender change, but there were more suicidal ideations in the transsexuals without gender change, as well as the transsexuals with gender change are more likely to seek social support.
