بررسی فراز و فرودهای ترخانیان در عصر تیموری

اصطلاح ترخان یکی از واژگانی است که در منابع تاریخ میاﻧﮥ ایران به‌کرار دیده می‌شود. در سده‌های نخستین اسلامی، این لفظ نوعی امتیاز برای گروه خاصی به شمار می‌رفت. در دورﮤ تیموریان نیز با دو عنوان ترخانیان و نشان ترخانی مطرح شد. سوال پژوهش حاضر این است که ترخان و منصب ترخانی در دورﮤ تیموری دستخوش چه تحول‌هایی شد و علت این تحول‌ها چه بود؟ دستاوردهای پژوهش حاکی از آن است که منصب ترخان که تا پیش از این دوره به گروه نظامیان و اقوام ترک اطلاق می‌شد، در دورﮤ تیموریان در دو بخش ترخانیان و نشان ترخانی ماهیت خود را تثبیت کرد. در دورﮤ تیمور و شاهرخ به‌طور عمده برتری با ترخانیان بود و در منابع کمتر از نشان ترخانی سخن به میان آمده است؛ اما پس از مرگ شاهرخ و همسرش، گوهرشادآغا، واژﮤ ترخانی از قالب منصب ترخانیان به نشان ترخانی تغییر یافت. مهم‎ترین علت این تحول تلاش امیرزادگان تیموری نظیر عبداللطیف، ابوسعیدتیموری، پسرش بایسنقرمیرزا و سلطان‌حسین‌بایقرا در محدودکردن ﺣﻴﻄﮥ اختیارات ترخانیان و درنتیجه تضعیف آنان بود. این سیاست تا به‌آنجا پیش رفت که از دورﮤ ابوسعید تیموری به بعد، منصب ترخانی از انحصار امرای ترخانی درآمد و به‌شکل نشان ترخانی به عموم مردم، اعم از اصناف و پیشه‌وران، داده شد.

Review of the Tarkhanids Ups and Downs in the Timurid Era

The term "Tarkhan" is one of the words that is repeated in the sources of Iranian middle history. In the early Islamic centuries, this term was a kind of privilege for a particular group. During the Timurid era, two titles of the Tarakhanids and Tarkhani were introduced. The question of the present research is that what happened to Tarkhan and Tarkhani's position during the Timurid period, and what was the cause of these developments? The findings of the research indicate that Tarkhan's position, which until then was attributed to the group of Turkish troops and relatives, established the nature of the Timurids in two parts of the Tarakanites and the Tarakan emblem. In the Timur and Shahrokh period, the superiority was for Tarkhanids and there was less talk of Tarkhani in historical sources. But after the death of Shahrokh and his wife (Goharshadagha), the term Tarkhanids was changed to Tarkhani. The most important reason for this development was the efforts of Timurid lords like Abdul Latif, Abu Said, and Sultan Hussein Bayqara in limiting the power of Tarkhanids. The policy has gone so far that Tarkhani position was widely accepted by commoners.
