عوامل مرتبط با نیازهای اطلاعات سلامت خانواده کودکان سرطانی

مقدمه: ارزیابی مستمر نیازهای اطلاعاتی والدین و عوامل مرتبط با آن می تواند موجب افزایش کیفیت مراقبت از کودک شود. هدف از پژوهش حاضر، تعیین عوامل مرتبط با نیازهای اطلاعاتی خانواده کودکان سرطانی بود.مواد و روش کار: پژوهش مقطعی حاضر بر روی 244 نفر از خانواده های دارای کودکان سرطانی مراجعه کننده به بیمارستان سیدالشهدای اصفهان صورت گرفت که به صورت نمونه گیری غیر احتمالی هدفمند و داوطلبانه وارد مطالعه شدند. اطلاعات توسط، پرسشنامه محقق ساخته با 48 گویه در 4 بعد (دسترسی، ارائه و تبادل اطلاعات سلامت مرتبط؛ ارائه اطلاعات در مورد سرطان توسط کادر درمان؛ امکانات و خدمات سلامت و مشاوره؛ و حمایت های اجتماعی، اقتصادی و معنوی) و گردآوری شده و با استفاده از نرم افزار spss تحلیل شد.یافته ها: جنسیت والدین و سن کودک با نمره کل نیازهای اطلاعات سلامت خانواده کودکان سرطانی و بعد دوم از ابعاد چهارگانه این نیازها رابطه داشت. جنسیت والدین، سطح تحصیلات آنان، مدت تشخیص بیماری کودک، نوع سرطان وی و وجود بیمار سرطانی در خانواده درجه دو با بعد اول؛ جنسیت والدین و سطح تحصیلات آنان، محل سکونت، میزان درآمد و سن کودک بیمار از عوامل مرتبط با بعد سوم؛ و جنسیت والدین و تحصیلات آنان، میزان درآمد و سن کودک بیمار با بعد چهارم نیازهای اطلاعات سلامت خانواده کودکان مزبور ارتباط معنادار داشت.(p<0/05)بحث و نتیجه گیری: با توجه به ارتباط برخی از عوامل فردی، زمینه ای و اجتماعی اقتصادی بر نیازهای اطلاعاتی خانواده کودکان سرطانی، لازم است متولیان حوزه سلامت در راستای تامین و رفع نیازهای اطلاعاتی مذکور به این عوامل توجه نمایند.

Factors Related to Health Information Needs of Families Who Had Children with Cancer

Objective (s): The continuous assessment of the parents' information needs and its factors affecting can increase the quality of childcare. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting the information needs of families who had children with cancer.Methods: This crosssectional study conducted on the 244 families referring to Isfahan's SeyyedAlShohada Hospital, who had children with cancer. The data was gathered through a researchermade questionnaire with 48 items in four dimensions: access, presentation, and exchange of related health information; provision of cancer information by the health care provider; health and counseling facilities and services; and social, economic and spiritual supports. The construct validity of the questionnaire was assigned and its reliability through Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.96.Results: The findings showed that the sex of the parent and the child's age were related to the overall score of the health information needs and the second dimension of the four dimensions of these needs (P>0.05). The sex of the parents, their level of education, the duration of diagnosis, the type of cancer, and the presence of a cancer patient in the seconddegree family were related to the first dimension. Also the sex of the parents and their level of education, place of residence, income, and child rsquo;s age were factors affecting on the third dimension. And sex of the parents and their education, income, and child rsquo;s age were related to the fourth dimension of the health information needs of the children's family (P>0.05).Conclusion: Considering the impact of some individual, contextual, and socioeconomic factors on the information needs of the families who had children with cancer, health care providers need to consider these factors to meet these information needs.
