نقش نیازهای بنیادین روان‌شناختی در هویت اخلاقی

زمینه: تعهدات اخلاقی درمانگران از موضوعات مهمی است که توجه پژوهشگران حوزه اخلاق پزشکی را به خود جلب کرده است. بر این اساس، هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی رابطه بین نیازهای بنیادین روان‌شناختی و هویت اخلاقی در دانشجویان پزشکی بود. روش: طرح این پژوهش از نوع توصیفی همبستگی است. آزمودنی‌ها، 140 دانشجوی پزشکی دوره اینترنی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز بودند که با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری طبقه‌ای از بیمارستان‌های دولتی شهر شیراز انتخاب شدند. برای جمع‌آوری اطلاعات از مقیاس نیازهای بنیادین روان‌شناختی و مقیاس اهمیت برای خویشتن هویت اخلاقی استفاده شد. داده‌ها به‌وسیله ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه مورد تحلیل قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها: نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که ارضای نیاز به شایستگی و نیاز به ارتباط همبستگی مثبت و معنادار با درون‌سازی هویت اخلاقی دارند. همچنین، ارضای نیاز به خودپیروی، نیاز به شایستگی و نیاز به ارتباط با نمادسازی هویت اخلاقی همبستگی مثبت و معنادار، نشان دادند. علاوه بر این، نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون حاکی از آن بود که ارضای نیاز به شایستگی، درون‌سازی هویت اخلاقی و ارضای نیاز به ارتباط، نمادسازی و نمره کل هویت اخلاقی را به‌نحو مثبت پیش‌بینی می‌کنند. نتیجه‌گیری: به‌طور کلی، نتایج پژوهش حاضر هم‌راستا با شواهد پژوهشی پیشین و نظریه خودتعیینی، نشانگر اهمیت ارضای نیازهای بنیادین روان‌شناختی در تشکیل هویت اخلاقی دانشجویان رشته پزشکی است.

Role of Basic Psychological Needs in Moral Identity

Background: Moral commitments of therapists is the important subject that attracted the attention of researches in the field of medical ethics. The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship between basic psychological needs and moral identity among medical students.Method: The plan of this research is descriptivecorrelation. Subjects were 140 medical interns of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences that selected by stratified sampling method from Shiraz public hospitals. For collecting data, using psychological needs satisfaction scale and self important of moral identity scale. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis.Results: Results of research showed satisfying needs of competence and relatedness have positive correlation with internalized moral identity. Also, satisfying needs of autonomy, competence, and relatedness showed positive correlation with symbolized moral identity. In addition, results of multiple regression analysis indicated that satisfying need of competence predicts internalized moral identity, positively. Satisfying need of relatedness predicts symbolized and total scores of moral identity positively.Conclusion: In general, results of present research in line with early research evidence and selfdetermination theory, showed the importance of satisfying basic psychological needs in forming medical students rsquo; moral identity.
