تاملی در مفهوم دانشگاه سازگار شونده

مفهوم دانشگاه سازگار شونده، به مسئله ارتباط دانشگاه و محیط با توجه به تغییرات قصد شده و نیز نوپدید می پردازد تا از طریق ایجاد تعادل پویا ماندگاری دانشگاه را در بستر تغییرات ممکن سازد. دانشگاه‌ها نمی‌توانند زندگی پویایی داشته باشند اگر تغییرات را صرفاً از منظر خواسته‌ها و ماموریت‌های تعیین‌شده از بالا به پایین بخواهند. هر دانشگاهی برای اینکه در بستر تغییرات و پویایی جوامع علمی بقای خود را حفظ کند، نیازمند نوآوری و رویکردهای اصیل در سازمان دانشگاه است. چگونه این امر ممکن می‌شود؟ آیا پویایی درونی در کنار پویایی که در سیستم‌های پیرامونی وجود دارد لازمه ی این کار نیست؟ دانشگاه سازمانی زنده و سیستمی پویا است که برای تداوم زندگی خود باید تلاشی برخوردار از توان سازگار شوندگی داشته باشد. ولی سازگار شوندگی به چه معنی است؟ چگونه از طریق این جریان، بقای دانشگاه ،در بستر تغییرات درون و برون دانشگاه ، ممکن می‌شود؟ آیا این بقا به‌صورت خودکار تداوم می‌یابد، یا تنها لحظه‌ای در حیات دانشگاه است که در جریان ارتباطات سیستم دانشگاهی با محیط خود می تواند به وجود آید؟ مقاله حاضر با بهره‌گیری از پژوهش‌های مختلف در آموزش عالی ایران و نیز مشاهدات نگارنده در دانشگاه‌های دیگر در سال‌های مختلف (مونترال٬مک گیل٬تورنتو٬شربروک، نانتر، لیل...) با طرح این پرسش‌ها به بررسی مفهوم دانشگاه‌های سازگار شونده می‌پردازد.

Reflection on the Concept of the Adaptive University

The concept of the adaptive university addresses the problem of the relationship between the university and the environment by considering the changes that are required and emerging in order to create the dynamic equilibrium for the university’s existence within changes.  University can not have a dynamic life if the changes are only the top-down demands and missions assigned by the high leaders of the university. Each university needs innovations and original approaches in order to keep its survival, within the changes and dynamism of the scientific societies. How is it possible? Does not it need internal dynamism besides the dynamism of the surrounding systems? The university is a living organization and a dynamic system and so it must be adaptive for its survival and also its progress. But what is the adaption? How the survival and development of the university can be possible within the internal and external changes? Are they automatic or only a moment in life? This article reflects on these questions and presents some principles for adaptive universities by the study of scientific researches and the author’s observations in other universities (Montreal, Toronto, McGill, Sherbrook…) in different years.
