   Simultaneous measurement of water flow velocity with fluorescent and speckle imaging technique

چکیده    The average velocity of waterflow has been simultaneously measured withfluorescent and speckle imaging methods. themeasured velocities with two methods are ingood agreement with each other and it confirmsthat the speckle imaging method can be used asa confident method to measure the velocity ofwater flow in a dry leaf. also the velocity ofwater flow through thick and thin xylems of aleaf can be measured with speckle imagingmethod and the ratio of thick xylem’s radius tothin xylem’s radius can be estimated with thismethod. also the ratio was measured bymonitoring the cross section of the leaf. the twomeasurements were in agreement.
