چکیده    Electronic absorption, florescenceexcitation and afm studies of selectedhomogeneous solutions and thin films of mesotetrakis(parahydroxyphenyl) porphyrin(thpp) (1), mesotetrakis (2, 3-dihydroxyphenyl) porphyrin 2, 3-ohpp) (2),mesotetrakis (3, 4-dihydroxyphenyl) porphyrin(3, 4-ohpp) (3) as well as zn(ii) derivative of 2,3-ohpp (4) under uv lamp and green laserirradiation (532 nm) are acquired and analyzed.our results indicate that in irradiationexperiments, the products of the resultingporphyrins strongly depend on the carefulchoice of the light source. uv lamp irradiationproduced j-type aggregated diacid porphyrinsfrom free base porphyrins by simplephotochemical technique. the stabilization ofthe aggregates structure may be achievedthrough hydrogen bonding between theprotonated core and the peripheral hydroxylgroups, mediated by the chloride anions. theresults of laser irradiation experiments shownthe formation of j-aggregated porphyrin upongreen laser (532 nm) irradiation. green laserirradiation has been caused the hydrogenbonding interactions between neighboringporphyrin molecules through hydroxyl moietiesto produce j-aggregated supramolecularporphyrins. the afm topographic images anddynamic light scattering (dls) of thpp(1)under green laser irradiation have beenindicated nano-structured porphyrin wiresabout 5 nm high approximately.
