   Investigation of Absorption Pump Light Distribution in Edged-Pumped High Power Yb:YagYag Disk Laser

چکیده    In this article, we present a specificshape of disk laser which is side-pumped byfour non-symmetric hollow- ducts. the use ofnon-symmetric hollow duct based on two goalsof the uniformity of the pump light distributionprofile and the homogeneity of pump lightprofile through the disk. first of all wesimulated the pump light distribution in thedisk by using monte-carlo ray tracing method.then, by using finite element analysis (fea)method, we calculated the absorbed pump lightdistribution through the disk for 12%, 14% and20% concentration of yb+3 ions. finally, theresults of calculation have been presented.
