   Studies on Structural and Optical Characterization of In-Zn-S Ternary Thin Films Prepared By Spray Pyrolysis

چکیده    Thin films of indium doped zincsulfide (zns) for different indium (in)concentrations (x=0.0 - 0.8) were deposited ontoglass substrate by spray pyrolysis method at523k temperature. aqueous solution of zincacetate, indium chloride and thiorea were usedto deposit the in-zn-s film. the deposited thinfilms were characterized by energy dispersivex-ray (edx), scanning electron microscopy(sem), x-ray diffraction (xrd), and by uvvisiblespectroscopy. the xrd spectra of in-zn-s revealed both the amorphous andpolycrystalline property for different inconcentration. the edx showed a wellstoichiometric result of different compositionsof in in zns thin films. the granularity ofirregular shape is observed in in doped znsthin films surface by scanning electronmicroscope. from the absorbance andtransmittance data it is observed that the bandgap energy is decreased from 3.75ev to 3.1evwith the increase of in concentration in zns.
