|
A novel design of dual-corephotonic crystal fiber (dc-pcf) with silica-airmicrostructures is proposed in this paper.nonlinearity and confinement loss of dc-pcfare evaluated by using a full-vectorial finiteelement method (fv-fem) successfully. byoptimizing the geometry of three ring dc-pcfs,a high nonlinearity (52w-1km-1) and lowconfinement loss (0.001db/km) can be achievedat 1.55 m wavelength when diameter to pitchratio (d/ ) is 0.70.
