   Highly Nonlinear Dual Core Photonic Crystal Fiber with Low Confinement Loss at 1.55 m Wavelength

چکیده    A novel design of Dual-CorePhotonic Crystal Fiber (DC-PCF) with silica-airmicrostructures is proposed in this paper.Nonlinearity and confinement loss of DC-PCFare evaluated by using a Full-Vectorial FiniteElement Method (FV-FEM) successfully. Byoptimizing the geometry of three ring DC-PCFs,a high nonlinearity (52w-1km-1) and lowconfinement loss (0.001dB/km) can be achievedat 1.55 m wavelength when diameter to pitchratio (d/ ) is 0.70.
