Th is paper presents a multi-objecti ve formu lation for optimal siting and sizing of distribu ted generation (dg) resou rce s indistr ibu tion systems in order to minimize the cos t of power losses and energy not supplied . th e imple mented techn ique isbased on a ge ne tic algor ithm (ga) and weig ht method that employed to obtain the best compromise between these costs .si mutation results on 33- bus dist ributi on test sys tem are pre sen ted to demonstra te the effectiveness of the pro pose dprocedur e.
