بررسی انتقادی تطبیق ذوالقرنین بر شخصیت‌های تاریخی، بر اساس شخصیت‌شناسی ذوالقرنین در احادیث تفسیری شیعی

قرآن کریم و روایات اسلامی به جناب ذوالقرنین به عنوان شخصیتی تاریخی اشاره نموده‌اند. مفسران، یافتن مصداق تاریخی ذوالقرنین را مفید و قرینه‌ای بر صحت مفاد آیات و روایات دانسته‌اند. دو تطبیق بیش از دیگر نظریات مورد توجه قرارگرفته است: تطبیق بر اسکندر و کوروش. عمدة دلائل هر دو نظریه، توجه به داده‌های تاریخی در مورد زندگی این دو شخصیت است. مسالة پژوهش حاضر آن است که آیا در روایات اسلامی با تمرکز بر روایات شیعی، مویداتی برای این تطبیقات وجود دارد یا خیر؟ در ابتدا با محوریت روایات قابل اعتماد شیعی، دورة تاریخی زندگی، نام و نسب، سرگذشت، گسترة قدرت و سفرهای ذوالقرنین گزارش شده است، سپس نظریات مفسرین با توجه به داده‌های تاریخی و سپس روایات وارده در مورد تطبیق ذوالقرنین بر اسکندر و کوروش مورد بررسی قرارگرفته‌اند.یافته‌ها: هیچ‌یک از دو نظریة تطبیقی، با شخصیت معرفی‌شده از جناب ذی‌القرنین منطبق نیست. وجود و صفات ایشان، از اخبار پنهان‌شده در تاریخ بوده که توسط وحی یادآوری شده‌ است و لزومی به منطبق‌نمودن ایشان بر هیچ‌یک از پادشاهان گذشته نیست.

a critical study of the application of dhul-qarnayn to historical figures, based on dhul-qarnayn’s personality in shiite interpretive hadiths

the holy qur’an and islamic traditions have mentioned dhul-qarnayn as a historical figure. commentators have considered finding the historical example of dhul-qarnayn to be useful and a proof of the authenticity of the verses and hadiths. two adaptations have received attention more than other theories: adaptation to alexander and cyrus. the main reason is to pay attention to historical data about the lives of these two characters. the issue of the present research is whether there is evidence for these adaptations in islamic traditions focusing on shiite traditions. in the beginning, the historical period of life, name and ancestry, history, extent of power and travels of dhul-qarnayn are reported. then, the opinions of the commentators have been examined according to the historical data and then the traditions about these comparisons. findings: none of the two comparative theories are compatible with the character introduced by dhul-qarnayn. his existence and attributes are among the hidden news in history, which were mentioned by revelation, and there is no need to match them to any of the past kings.
