بررسی ارتباط بین صلاحیت بالینی و خستگی از شفقت در پرستاران بخش اورژانس بیمارستان‌های آموزشی درمانی شهر ارومیه در سال 1403

زمینه و هدف: یکی از عواملی که به نظر می رسد بر خستگی از شفقت در پرستاران نقش داشته و موجب تعدیل آن شود، صلاحیت بالینی است. لذا این مطالعه با هدف تعیین ارتباط بین صلاحیت بالینی و خستگی ناشی از شفقت در پرستاران بخش اورژانس انجام گرفته است.روش بررسی: این پژوهش یک مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی است. جامعه این پژوهش تمامی پرستاران بخش‌های اورژانس بیمارستان‌های آموزشی درمانی شهر ارومیه در سال 1403 بودند. تعداد 120 پرستار به عنوان نمونه به روش تصادفی انتخاب شدند. در این پژوهش از سه پرسشنامه مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی و حرفه‌ای، پرسشنامه صلاحیت بالینی leo و پرسشنامه کیفیت کاری figley برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها استفاده شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون مجذوری کای و همبستگی pearson در نرم‌افزار spss نسخه 23 مورد تجزیه ‌و تحلیل قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد بین صلاحیت بالینی و خستگی از شفقت ارتباط معکوس و معنادار وجود دارد (p=0.457, r=0.45). میانگین و انحراف معیار نمره صلاحیت بالینی در پرستاران بخش‌های اورژانس، 0.54±201.13 بود. همچنین، میانگین و انحراف معیار نمره خستگی شفقت 8.54±27.73، رضایت شفقت 1.81±38.73 و استرس ترومای ثانویه 4.82±28.45 بود.نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج مطالعه حاضر و تاثیر صلاحیت بالینی در کاهش خستگی از شفقت در پرستاران، مدیران و سیاست‌گذاران پرستاری، توصیه می‌شود با انجام اقداماتی مانند آموزش اصولی پرستاران، برگزاری دوره‌های ضمن خدمت و به‌کارگیری پرستاران خبره و با تجربه در بخش اورژانس، زمینه جهت تعدیل خستگی از شفقت در پرستاران فراهم شود. 

the relationship between clinical competence and compassion fatigue among emergency department nurses in urmia hospitals in 2024

background & aim: clinical competence may influence the level of compassion fatigue experienced by nursing staff. this study aimed to determine the relationship between clinical competence and compassion fatigue among emergency department nurses.methods & materials: this descriptive-analytical study was conducted among nurses working in the emergency departments of teaching hospitals in urmia in 2024. a total of 120 nurses were randomly selected for participation. data collection was performed using three questionnaires: a socio-demographic characteristics questionnaire, leo’s clinical competence questionnaire, and figley’s professional quality of life scale. data analysis was performed using the chi-square test and pearson correlation coefficient with spss version 23.results: the results showed a significant inverse relationship between clinical competence and compassion fatigue (r=-0.45; p<0.05). the mean score of clinical competence among participants was 201.13±0.54. the average scores for compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction, and secondary traumatic stress were 27.73±8.54, 38.73±1.81, and 28.45±4.82, respectively.conclusion: the results suggest that higher levels of clinical competence are associated with lower levels of compassion fatigue among emergency nurses. to mitigate compassion fatigue, nursing administrators and policymakers should consider implementing targeted strategies, such as comprehensive training, ongoing in-service education, and staffing with experienced and specialized nurses, thereby fostering a supportive work environment that reduces compassion fatigue.
