بررسی اثر وابستگی نفت بر کیفیت آموزش درکشورهای نفت‌خیز

کیفیت آموزش، از دغدغه‌های اصلی نظام‌های آموزش عالی در اغلب کشورهای جهان بوده است و امروزه با مطرح شدن اقتصاد دانش‌بنیان، کیفیت آموزش و میزان یادگیری مهارت‌های علمی اهمیت بیشتری پیدا کرده ‌است. مطالعات تجربی نشان‌دهنده درجه وابستگی هزینه‌های آموزش به نفت به‌عنوان یکی از کانال‌های کاهش کیفیت آموزش است. در این مطالعه، اثر وابستگی نفت بر کیفیت آموزش در کشورهای نفت‌خیز بررسی شده است. تخمین ضرایب به‌وسیله روش داده‌های تابلویی و با استفاده از اطلاعات دوره زمانی 2001-2017 این کشورها صورت گرفته است. بر اساس نتایج، وابستگی به نفت با کیفیت آموزش رابطه منفی و معنی‌داری دارد. کیفیت آموزش با درآمد سرانه، رشد جمعیت، رابطه مثبت و معنی‌داری دارد. همچنین هزینه دولت برای آموزش با وابستگی به نفت رابطه مثبت و معنی‌داری دارد. کیفیت آموزش و هزینه‌های دولت بر آموزش نیز هر دو با بیکاری رابطه منفی و معنی‌داری دارد.

Investigating the Impact of Oil Dependence on Quality of Education in OilRich Countries

Education quality has been a big concern of higher education systems in many countries across the globe. Empirical studies show that education expenditures rely so much on oil revenues, which has been one of the channels of decreasing the quality of education. Today, with the advent of the knowledgebased economy, the importance of quality education and the learning of scientific skills have become more important. This study investigates the effect of oil dependence on quality of education in oilrich countries. The coefficients are estimated by panel data method using data in time period of 20172020 in these countries. According to the results, oil dependency has a negative and significant impact on the quality of education. Quality of education is positively and significantly associated with per capita income and population growth. And there is a positive and significant relationship between government expenditure on education and oil dependency. The quality of education and government spending on education both have a negative and significant relationship with unemployment
